Attack button gone?

ok well im in a war at the minute and near the end of the massing the "attack" button disappeared from the person we were attacking.... its been several hours and its gone still.... I've searched through the forums and cant find anything, But im not set at peace. The turn has turned over several times. And a few other people cant see the attack button either. Everyone else has an attack button but not the person we were trying to hit... any reasons?

ok... thats weird, i checked it seconds before posting this to make sure it wasnt my browser... and it wasnt, i just checked again and its there? Is there any reason for it disappearing like that? Just so i know in the future?

EDIT: also during last check and this check the turn hasn't turned over

Hmm... could it be because he was phased?

Ah had a feeling it was goign to be that. it was just weird.
Some people couldnt some people could then it disappeared
