A question for Admin

Well here is the deal. I have heard a rumour you have to wait 14 days to reasend. I ascended once and acumulated another 1k g&r and there is no ascencion icon displayed.

I'm sorry, but I didn't find this topic anywhere. I need an information if the 14day thingy is true.

and u need 1001 GnR for the button to appear, not 1k but id assume by now youd hav more then 1000 GnR...

I think it is also. but unless you plan on getting in the top 120 or so to get 5 G&R a turn then it will take you 3 weeks to get enough anyway.

As far as I know, this was implemented because of some people abusing of the G&R system to ascend very quickly.

It was also put in place to stop people going on a permanent PPT.

If you ascended on the right day, you could effectively be on PPT all the way to LG+1

First of all I am sorry I placed my topic in the wrong section and thanks for your answers.

Now I have another question directly to the man responsable for this "minor" update (btw i never bothered to get the acces to ascended server).

How come this happened? I mean it was good enough for all these years and now you suddenly cannot do it again. Everywhere there is talk about how somebody is to catch up with some of the players and on the other hand you limit our ascencion so you can reach lg almost half a year after your first ascencion?

Was this really neccesary? Maybe the PPT thing was abused but that is just how the game was designed. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but that is the point when you are accumulating 5 g&r when you are ranked among top players and 10 g&r when ranked 1.? To ascend quick... You could just require 1 market turn with 1 ppt left and the thing would be setteled. In these days you need minnimum 3mil disposable units and 2-3trill to get the neccesary rank. And not many of the players can afford that few times in a row.

This is my first shout to Admin and I appreciate if I get the response. Why this thing was implemented? Why was I, the player, not informed about this and wasted all this resources which I wouldn't have to? This bugs me alot and it is just a tip of the iceberg. I am sorry, but all these things that happened lately, all of it goes to the direction where old players profit the most. Sure they have the advantage becouse of their participation time, but squeezing the circle around newer players more and more is just lame. It just make me wanna quit....

A. Good luck, there are issues that are over 6 months old and still unresolved

A. Because cheaters were abusing bugs and with the dirty naq they were ascending from basic races to LG+1's and higher in a few days time. This was a step to combat cheaters. Blame the cheaters not admin.

A. Its a new fad admin is going through, he for the most part no longer tells anyone when he changes the game, No idea why. Get use to it.

A.How do you think older players profit from you not being able to do quick ascentions? You apparently are not doing good ascentions so the delay will more then likely help you have a better ascended account. Don't waste your ascentions.

Hope you don't take this mean spirited as its not meant to be. Hope some of the info helped. And I encourage you to get access to the ascended forums and play the server. Try it you might like it. After all its set up now so the lowest ranked player in the game can mass the rank 1 account and there is nothing he can do to stop it and he can't retaliate either.

First of all get your facts straight before you accuse me of wasting my ascencions. My whole account from starters was build in the way that I will get as much boost as I can for ascended account. This is the problem. If I knew for the change, I would play it different from starters, now my whole strategy crushed like domino.
And second, about profiting. Well maybe you should expand your horizons and look it another way. If someone who ascended in a month to lg+1 just a day before the new update, he can build up his account. He has more than a month advantage, becouse someone who will start ascending now can start building his account at lg+1 in two and a half months, n9ot just one if you get me.
And about massing top 1 in ascended by the lowest player, I mean c'mon, who are you kidding? You can try selling it to someone else...Sure you can try, but fail miserably.....

actually, if you ascend a certain way and build your ascended account a certain way, you really can mass the rank one account in ascension while being the lowest ranked person on the server, and he really can't mass back.

we hope this will change soon though, because it's not the way it should be.

If that is the case, I truly apologize to Lore for my previous statement.

But imagining how much income can one have and what cosmic expantion rate is, I really can't see the damage you can do...I mean you must have big expantion rate, and avoiding higher rank to achieve that means tons of DMU. So you would have to compensate with main resources, for that you need strong main account....Or am I wrong?

its a complicated strategy to go through and im not allowed to talk about ascension details in public.

just no that its possible and people don't like it so were trying to get things changed, so the tactic wont work for much longer anyway...we hope.

This remark offends me, I spoke to you as a player, not a mod. As if a mod whos only power is to delete market threads has any power. And I take it back, there was some mean spirit in it, but it was toward admin and his lack of response the the ascended community not at you.

I would dearly love to know how you can build an account to do quick ascentions and have better stats then by doing slow ascention that are well prepared. If you say its possible I will not call you a liar but please tell me as I have 3 ascentions left.

If they did their ascesntions 1 month before the update then they are not one of the big boys you claim are gaining from this.

I do see and agree with the point made, I also agree this is not a fair update and needed to be posted but meh.

Well at first yess I did, but I do feel like it was a miscommunication probably steming from me taking stabbs at admin for his poor performance in the ascended realm.

As someone else showed you, the lowest account with no CER and no LF levels can farm their bunns off and buy a massive strike while raiding to gain size and army. They can then mass the higher ranks and because of the rank mods they can't be raided back or even attacked by the same player they are attacking.

Well I won't write as clean as you do, which is really readable, good work. But forums are not quite where I feel at home so I apologize in advance.

You are a mod. And you have written in the bottom of your sig "speaking as a mod". So when replying to my post I took it you speak as a mod. I was wrong. As for my remark for that matter was far away from trying to bee offensive, maybe I would have to add a smile instead of basic wink;). I feel sad you felt offended by that as that was not my intention in the first place. I won't go in the details of the other things, just want to state something publicly.

I am not a man who gets easily offended, especially when someone read my posts and reply . All replies, positive or negative, are taken in a good way. I like healthy sarcasm. Obviously we don't know each other and cannot know what the other one is thinking. I take all blame on me becouse I was not writting clearly.

Again, nothing in my posts is disrespectfull or offensive. When i read your reply I felt poked, which I don't take it in a bad way as I stated before.
