I dont think such a system will ever exist/work. As long as the opponent continues to fight, the war is not won. The side that wished out, or accepted terms, to end the war, IMO, is the loser.

Anyway, I prefer big wars, more people to hit, for a few reasons

1) more people to hit
2) more varied targets so everyone can have a peice
3) more demand on the leaders to end the war if the members cant take it (rather than a few stubborn people :lol: )
4) If leaders continue to make thier members fight when they do not wish to (especially if they cant win) many will leave and the alliance will be crippled, in a way the bigger the war the more potential there is to win or lose.

I love a war that's with a mid sized alliance. You get to meet the people you are massing, (usually) plus their forums are easier to infiltrate. :-D

As I said - at one time it was possible to completely wipe someone out - including their UU - all that was left was their UP, covert level and spies (spies weren't killable back then). Believe me, wars were more fun then and a greater co-ordinated effort was needed - but it was changed so that UU were no longer killable - mainly because some people whined that it was unfair (especially if they had spent money - but nobody forced them!!) - but most of the people who fought most of the wars back then (EPA/TA/OOC to name but 3), and thus lost more UU than anyone, hardly (in fact, I don't think ever) complained.

Making UU unkillable was the catalyst for a number of other changes and, ultimately, the reason that it became more difficult for newer players and easier for bigger players to become bigger, and whihich, in my opinion, led to the game and forums becoming a less pleasant place.

As I said previously, I would love a return to the old days - before unkillable UU, raid, motherships, planets and the market - but it isn't going to happen. Though it may be possible for a new 'Vintage SGW' server! I'd play it without even thinking twice about it! Then, if necessary, some of the better aspects of the updates may be able to be introduced, with the benefit of hindsight, while keeping the possibility of killable UU!

not always...... :twisted: and besides i don't really care for war i like the mafia mentality farm farm farm...... 8)

I asked later to have next Q wave like that...with few exceptions like PPT available, but in general pretty much likeold server, as most of its aspects were up to be discussed, strangely not alot took attention of it :?
