Re: Remove the Current mods, and hold elections
Not sure something so drastic is required.. as most of the moderators here do a great job. There are one or two idiots, though, and one or two self-congratulatory busybodies. Maybe an overhaul is what's needed.

Feel free to quote me on this one. Jason (Forum) will not remove mods over this.

Funny that you of all people should comment, DaDigi, as you were one of the moderators I referred to in my above post.
And even if he doesn't, I still think it's a good indicator of how the community feels at the moment.

No it works fine now.
As far as I see it the extra MT doesn't give them an advantage over other players as instead of playing the game they have to spend their time reading these forums rather than farming / raiding. What are they going to do? Get an extra 3 days mspd? some more turns, its not like the ingame market gives amazing rates for resources.

I'm doing my best to refrain from referring to people as 'idiots' after I recieved a warning for it earlier in the day.
But if you think a fourth MT won't give someone an advantage over other players...

Re: Remove the Current mods, and hold elections
No not really, considering time spent having to moderate these forums sucks up their actual game play.

Does it really?
There are a few moderators who don't play, yes, and a few for whom time constraints may affect their ability to both moderate and play effectively.. but there also a few who have accounts among the best in the game and who play to the max. You made a truly absurd generalization.

If it takes up all their time, Don't be a moderator then...

Ah you save me another point! the fact that a lot of the mods do have an excellent account means that extra mt will make an amazing difference!
And the rest well it won't really make any difference to growth cos have you used the ingame market yourself at all recently? It is still half price of black market rates but since you get so little from your 5x I really don't see it having a massive impact on making mods accounts that much better.
All I have seen is people who aren't mods moan about an extra mt that would have so little effect on improving their accounts. If they where getting trillions of naq then it would be a different story but a MT is hardly worth crying about.

Or stay as a mod and quit the game, whichever works.
Deep within Noob Cave, you find a strange pool filled with a glowing blue liquid. You think back to what your mother told you about unfamiliar liquids found in caves.
You're pretty sure she said "Drink it! What's the worst that can happen?"

Prehaps they should remove just you. Since your one of the mods who just appeared out of nowhere, and is probably the most Incompetent out of the enitre team.
