changes to ascension

i always thought that you were open minded to a discusion, guess i am wrong,

chucking the old whinning bit in was funny & then the bit about cheating, well need i say more.

Tornado told me you had fed info to him about what my account was b4, attack planets, when he was investergating me, well lets put you right that was jake, i had a mixture of defence/up.

what i was passing along was stuf others passed to me and i didnt mention attack planets i mentioned variaty of planes meanin not only up i remembered that cause i hated the up game, and it felt nice that rank 1 at that time aslo didnt feel like playn the boring up game evry1 else was playn. Ppl generaly tell me stuf cause i dont owe any1 anything and am not affraid to speak up, i dont see what tornado was doing "investigating" you and what i got to do with it but ok i trust he was acting crazy as he always does.

As for discusion, i m open to it, and as you can see i praticipated in it. Its an ongoing process for a while now this ascended updates.. theres quite a few pages of forum made and theres been 2 long admin meetings mostly only on that subject.

If you check the first page proposals you ll find that they differ from the the ones admin is working on now.
I for one think that they are way better when you take in context the whole server, but might be a bit more sucky for top guys, but like i said you guys are in position where you can only loose as you are on the top of the hill you can only go down or stay there. I m sure that seeing you are all good players you will manage to stay on the hill with no problem, specialy cause most of the server hasnt even started climbing up.

I didnt have any problem with the first update scenario i only pointed out that ppl shouldnt be wondering why most ppl dont play ascended if such updates occur that monopolize the power of the server even further and create a situation where small players are endangered even more that they are now. In adition to that i pointed out that further damage to the main will be reflected on the main - meaning ppl quitting main as they ll see no point into playn it being descended all the time. At least thats what i d do, i have no problem massing my account down to 0 and than deleting it. Dont get me wrong this is a great game probably the best online game i ve ever played, but if it stops being fun for me i ll stop playn it,as its still a only a game.

so talk all you want sugest ppl specialy forum is always open for that.
I dont like the APP - LF rate in this update either, but forum sees it as a point to make the ascnesion process more itneresting again, and who am i to stand in his way. True you invested more into your ascensions and therefore you might feel "cheated" off more, but eventualy we re all in the same boat.
But agian you have to undersand, Forum doenst care how an individual feels about update, hes asking wether the update will be good for a server or not. So when youre posting your input, put in i dont like that cause of that and that that id does to me, or say i dont like that cause its bad for the server.
And if you are honest and look at the proposed points in the update, all round and round its a good update for the server.

(soz i know i usualy dont make much sence but i do hope you get the point)

PS dont take whining and cheating personal, they are just new words i learned from some of the posters here, and i thought i d give them a try

dont have a problem with give more app out hell even i think its low at 33/1 whats suggested i thinks to high though
what i do have a problem is that the costs being drooped, it means one can ascend and max them all out with one ascension were as we have been playing for 2 odd yrs and still havent gotten that far
also have a problem with raid taken out i c np with what it stands at, fits of u only have 30 attacks u can do, first u have to untrain the planets i belive that only 10% of the total each time, then from raiding that its about 10% of that again so even if a person had 1, 000 mil planets u could only get a max of 100 mil even if they were all untrianed for u and u didnt have to untrain them its only just over 200 mil u would get
what i dont have a problem with is is the prices stay the same and just like fleets when u get to a certain lvl they cost even more

and raven i wont bother replying to u any more u cant c it, i had a better u,p before i ascended i had a better m/s beforer i ascended, but yes i have gotten 10 new planets and an extra covert lvl but i would have gotten them anyway if i didnt sell dmu as i wouldnt have to of bought a m/s again or my raw u,p but u think what u want to

your still avoiding the most important thing.....those planet defences are more costly then my whole account even if i sold all my UU.......its impossible to get where you are now without Selling DMU....so in one way your only heavily profitting from ascension while putting some in earlier.....at the end your ascension prolly were free lol

Its funny that everything gets blamed on "lack of vision of fast ascenders"... Noone mentions the lack of vision on the other end of the rainbow... Lack of vision that creating a monopoly and keeping all others down in the gutter won`t someday eventually lead to a drastic shakeup to make things playable again... Lack of vision in spending 1 year lobbying for closer ascended main ties expecting only the keys to main dominance... lack of vision that giving such keys would fataly destabilise a painstakingly built and very competative main prolly killing SGW on the scale we know it in the process... etc. etc. Like it or not it`s not just others being too bad... it`s you lot being absolutley too good heh...
Here`s an idea... forget about these updates... just sever ascended and main completley and be done with it... I`ll serve one additional phrase back at you: "you cant have it both ways"... total dominance of ascended that a lot less ppl play loosly connected with main or a shakeup on ascended like this one to make it (more) competative and tighter bonds... Not because you wouldn`t deserve it, but cos it`d KO the entire game.


So stop crying how you`re being punished... I don`t like all of these updates either... I took a path of concentrating on certain things and now a solid ascension prior will lap me for the equivalent of 4 laps on the olympic track... But I`ll take it on the chin cos it`s for the best looking at the big picture... and you`re telling me you that are packing 700mil armies can`t cope with the gap going from the English Channel to Grand Canyon? pff

@reborn well the raiding gone shouldnt be realy blamed on forum, its not his idea, but more of a player demand, sorry not a demand a condition.

you see for the last 2 years some of us played and got raided evrytime we were juicy enough to be some of you guys nice pickings.... at the end we gave up (at least most of them) and refused to play no longer.

yes you can argue that you earned the right to be on top and that by that right you can raid us all, but thats not the argument there. The argument is that Forum would like to see ppl start playn the ascended again, and if he wishes to acchive that, Resource planets have to be safe from raiding and destroyn.
If they wont be ppl wont play, its a simple logic see?

Note that the logic some suggest raiding only upwards not downwards doesnt apply for a simple reason.
I remember when my first ascension, ppl said no comanders no alliances... well things change, as we all know alliances exist even on ascended, and by such the alliances that have the top 10 ppl would be holding again monopoly, when some1 grew, one of the top 10 would destroy him, and his alliance mates would raid him, and we are back to sqare 1.


Ofcourse you could argue that you dont care if the rest play the game or not, but again its not about you its about the server, and i m sure admin prefers keeping the game for 1000 or even 2000 players oposed to 20

i agree, and setting cap to raid wont really help us as they still can mass and make revolution on us to help lowers to raid us. The 3-4 last time i was raided, i was first massed by some high after what lowers raided me...

Why do the larger accounts want raiding to stay?
Is it so that they can destory your account, well i don't need to raid you to do that, i just remove your defence, and have people farm you, and descend you.
Is it to grow. Well damn guys i would need to raid a **Filtered** of planets. To be correct, i would need to raid ranks 10-20, and i might save a day or 2 of my UP productions.
Is it to keep the soul of ascension alive, well it might be that.
Or is it just to keep people in line so that they don't do anything foolish, like start farming everyone members.

Now ascensions

Anys APP, conversion is going to leave your main account weaker, THAT is the POINT of ascension! It's a place to spend main resources. As for the people selling dmu, well they are just helping people, since people don't buy if' the deals bad. When it comes down to it, it's cheaper to buy then to ascend, cause you dont need to rebuild everything.
If neither of you want to ascend, so what no one is forcing you too, get yourself descended, and go on your way, you gotten your shiny weapons, do you need anything else?

however would like the power ups to be a bit more expensive.

To general, NO UPDATE IS GOING TO EFFECT ANY MAJOR PLAYER
for one simple reason, the major players can change to suit the update.

what i have been saying for ages is something needs to be done to bring people into the game, but the lvls is way to high which are being talked about, going from 33 up to 1500 or is it 1700 is just crazy & everyoe i have spoken to think the same & thats from both side of the fence.

I & others come on here & say these things, but when you can not disagree with us you start using words like whining, crying etc.

why can't we for one have a open discusion, so what if we dont agree.

I think that as well as these changes, currently ascended players should get 48 hrs ppt and have an amount of life force placed in the cache, related to their army size to allow the server to balance out, otherwise there is gonna be inbalance when all these tauri, repli, asgard and goauld start ascending their 20 times.

its impossable to have u at 100 mil planets and u raided down to 1 mil, well infact it could b done only take about a month of constant untraining aswell as raiding, most likely longer

and last time here for u raven, it wasnt until my last ascension that we choose to sell some dmu, ppl like u buying it kept it nice for us, not like i would sell to u anyway, but my planets i got to 300 bil before even selling any dmu, now to do a little more maths for u yes thats 50 tri naq, now if u want go ask admin i dont mind hes looked into my account lots of times im sure with the amount of ppl always complainiing about me, last one i heard was because i was attacking ppl and they thought i had some script to tell me when ppl were withdrawing naq from the banks to transfer or spend, now u get that one because i didnt found that very funny. i use to raid over 6 mil uu a day, and sell, now that was at 600 bil per mil, find it strange how the price's is still the same to buy them now but what the hell not my probelm, now that makes 3,6 tri a day, now work out how much i made from only raiding for 1 and a half months after my last ascension, if u still r having problems go speak to someone else about it maybe they can help u because im done with your stuff of being niave, but i will not disagree ive made quite a bit from selling dmu lately more now than what i ever could raiding by a long way, but that has not put my planets to 500 bil or me having 100k fleets because i dont have that defence on my planets and im quite a long way off 100k fleets

thats 54 Mill life force to BOOST ALL, like a 300k Up ascension...

surely thats not true? because if that is true then thats WAY To low (as much as I'd love that it would ruin ascension for me as I'd beat that too easily)

I really do like the updates. Ascending should always be able to help your ascended account a great deal. The top have always talked about how they ascended with a ton and got to the top, well, even with this update they would still be ahead, but I don't see a problem of atleast giving ascending a point again and making the server fun again for everyone who wants to play. If people on the very top really want to keep their leads they can ascend again aswell, to match whatever the others are doing, but chances are their incomes are still enough to match lifeforce gained from main resources even after the APP-LF upgrade without doing so.
