This is what i have SEEN which has eroded my trust over the months i have played

got massed held grudges, mass some people they held grudges, the term noob is now offensive to everyone since when ppl use it they just dont mean you are a new players means you are a complete idiot in this game

ppl who get massed brush off massing like they dont hurt you, but deep down it harbors terrible grudges and hatred

when ppl help you on the forums they also throw in insults...i dunno how you explain it but almost like a insults that helps you.

and since we have our own alliances forums this place can be the place to dump all the unwanted spam into, almost like a dump site...i see that there are some things you will never say on your allaince forums but on SGWs forums

and we have a bunch of elitist type of players running both ingame and offgame crap which propels them to certain positions that they did not earn except befriend certain players/people...not saying they all did but some...

some ppl take privates matters out to the public for everyone to see, well honestly anything on the internet is will public u can find about anything you want,

The stupid awards are the like the gay Emmies but for SGWs players, basically what i saw is they made categories that were lopsided to a certain individual which guaranteed instant winning.

The Game suggestion area...i admit i done this too certain idiots makes ideas that do not benefit everyone but a few selected individuals or just them selves AKA ascension....more stupid ideas to stop them being bashed

admin chats are nothing BUT ascension seriously nobody can get any new ideas out to him, usually the loudest ma f er gets to speak and the dumb mods usually pick the popular/loudest ppl to speak first and mutes everyone.

people sayings its a war game and ya it is, seriously if you cant handle a abusive post, or a threat, or some other things that brings you to the edge of crying then this game is certainly not for you and a game like this is filled with rutherless heartless cruel ppl, just like RL

another thing is alot of things happen off forums and whatever happens off forums ie chat,PMs, can have negative effects on the forums which cant be helped since its a "community" some say

what happens on the forums doesn't stay on the forums you just got massed in all 4 servers main ascn Q and chaos have a nice day

The newer players that come here are getting alot more arrogant. I beleive that's partly due to the growing power they hold in-game.

It's now alot more easier to become powerful and having these extremely powerful alliances backing you up also adds a sense of arrogance.

The old players are getting even more arrogant I'd say.

In case of new players it can be accepted as they don't know the game that well yet.

But why have to older players gone "bad" and the ones that posted respectfully (read: no netspeak, no flamable posts, no 1 emoticon posts, and in readable organized sentences) have disappeared or quit (or gone to the dark side)

You can take it as a whine post but meh, I'm quitting also, have to serve my time in the military.

I don't visit the forums much anymore, there are just far too many posts for me to ever manage to keep up and still have a life.

For the most part I think that the people who play this game are descent people. Unfortunately though, these people don't draw attention to themselves so all most people ever notice are those that we would rather not have roaming freely in society.

Some of us old people still exist, but as some have already concurred we do not come here often as it is full of mindless rubbish and offensive insults. I still have a fervent belief that the ingame attrocities are becasue of the alliances, most supremely I am afraid to say the ones at the top. I remember being a senior commander of the UTA when we first did the now common place hit anyone in our alliance and you will be massed thread.....we were hated by everyone, now anyone with the power to support it does it.

However that will never be resolved, the fault is as it always is. In people, this is not a fun game as there is to much now at stake for people. Namely Cash...

Ah well those that are still here do not enjoy it, but we remain anyway. It must still have something.....

A lot has happened Psi, SGC covers a lot of it well

The old faces (I do claim to be one of them) don't come on because of the way the newer ones post. And the new faces stay around because they think they can act all macho and someone gives a damn.

People quit because the new guys run them off. Or they learn they don't have enough time to play the game and come back to visit on rare ocassion (Wolf).

I, myself, only come on to the market anymore really. I have given up on posting as so many people have become arrogant, it isn't even worth saying something. I am not saying just the new guys are arrogant. The old players have changed to that so that they can keep up with the "n00bs".

Even if you are right on something, you will still have people saying you are wrong. Proof is almost impossible to come by. I mean only admin anymore can PROVE anything is real via trades, attacks logs or anything in game. We could take screenshots, but those are easily editted. So are chat logs on any messenger or IRC. So there is no way to ever safely back up your claim. Even if someone backs you up, its still all words as no one can provide legit proof anymore that wont be questioned.

The Game Suggestions Section is crap. Too many of the ideas anymore don't benefit the majority. It only benefits high ranked players, or players with big accounts. I could go through there and probably not find very many that help out the newer players. Admin chats on Wednesdays have gone the same way. As SGC said, it is almost all about ascension anymore and if you have the bigger mouth and spam more, then you will get noticed quicker and waste other people's time stating stupid ideas.

IRC Ops/Moderators have gone to crap. They play favoritism half the time and the other time they are breaking their own rules. It is a double standard with them that will never go away. They can basically insult us and be fine, the moment we retaliate, we get in trouble.

The market has also gone down the drain. It used to be that newer players could buy turns to raid with, or have someone CHEAPLY buy turns for them. Now the cost of turns is through the roof and isn't going to go down anytime soon.

Ascension has become way lopsided as has main, as has Chaos has the time. Oh yes, those in Quantum aren't safe either. You put money in early, you will stay ahead and almost have no one catch you. Its simple as that. I thought ascension was going to be a more Free For All area, that we all had to spend our OWN resources. But you see people selling DMU for naq/uu/$$/AT and all. Its kinda sad. Oh yea, there might be a few scripts on ascension too, because even if I am on to spend my DMU during the "sale", I lose it within seconds and my internet is fast as it is. I don't even have time to spend it before it is taken.

Main is getting bad as all the major alliances wont touch each other.

Quantum is nice right now as it is old school.

Oh and people have become quite the hypocrits now a days. They say they don't support one thing, and then turn around and do it. I wont name names, but some may recognize who I am talkin' about here.

Moderators (back on the topic) are basically a favortism thing. Unless you are popular, you wont really be considered for a moderator/admin posistion. A good example, look at most of the alliances that moderators are in, any of them page 2?

Anyways, thats what I see is happening. Feel free to say what you think on what I said.
