Join/Reject alliance bug?

I looked for threads on this first page

This is what I see now:

When I click on reject or join I am brought to the create alliance page.

I saw the thread about quitting an alliance (not being able to), but I wasn't in an alliance to begin with, and I haven't heard of another person having the same problem, so I consider it two different problems (RE: "You are attempting to access the alliance management page without being alliance leader.").

If a bug mod wishes to lock (in case this is a duplicate topic), please quote me and add it to the appropriate thread, or send it my way to do it.

This will remain open. That is of course unless I find another recent topic about this, which as of now I do not.

There is another player having this issue. I know this because I solicited them to join as officer and alliance member. The player states that everytime he/she has hit the reject, the same thing happens. I do want to get this player into my alliance since he/she is already my officer.

An alliance has asked me to join but cannot because it says I've got to reject first request. No other alliance is asking me to join. I've clicked join and it says Create alliance, I've click reject and it says Create alliance, something is wrong because I want to join this alliance and I can't. Please see where ever it is you look because this is weird.

I don't know how to do a screen shot my screen is the same as at the top.

Hold shift and press PrtSc then open up paint and press Ctr+v

i had this problem months and months ago and fixed it myself.

Cause:

When you get invited to an alliance, you get a PM and the invite shows on your command center, DELETE the message and you get Spacey's screenshot on your command centre and neither button works, only true way to not accept is to press reject before you deleted the message.

Fix:

Kinda sucks but you have to make an alliance (you'll loose your CO), then quit / disband, then get invited to the original alliance.

Long Term Fix:

@Jason: Dont make the invite dependant on the message, infact remove the message all together, they can see the prompt of Command Center.

I had a request this morning from some random alliance (no idea why though). I just clicked reject, it came up with the make alliance screen and I clicked on Command Center, problem fixed

Are you saying because you rejected an alliance you were able to join it?
Do we receive a PM at the same time as being asked in the Command Center too?

seems he says that you need to get some random alliance to invite you, then reject from command center, before deleting invite message...
