Mothership after ascending?

Mothership after ascending?
I know there was an update released a while back where you retained 60% of your mothership's capacity when you ascend. When I ascended last night, though, I didn't lose any of my mothership's capacity. Is this a bug, or did I just miss something? Thanks.
