My friend Dan Crossy has been hacked

These are the rules

3) No sharing or giving out your account details to others.
4) No logging into other people's accounts.
5) Attempts to break into accounts, the game, or otherwise disrupt or slow down the game, or server, are strictly illegal.
6) Using bugs or exploits of any kind, or knowing of and not reporting bugs or exploits, is illegal.
7) Spamming your recruiting link, or anything else related to or using our name or site, is illegal. Share the site, but please do so respectfully.
(8) No profanity in user names, namable weapons/ships, or anywhere else on game.
9) Any breaking of the rules can result in punishment, suspension, banning, account deletion, or banning of your entire ISP.

None of these rules state anything to do with the transfer of goods from a hacked account and forwarding them on to another and none of the rules state that if you know that someone is hacking an account and you don't report it you will be banned so i have not broke the rules. Its upto admin to keep these rules up-to-date and they cannot ban me for doing nothing. if wat i have done is breaking rules then its admins fault for not having it in the rules.

actually, that is covered by these two rules:

and this you did, because you broke into the account of Dan Crossy. and you distrupted his gameplay by removing his stuff from the account...

Look mate we are Dans freinds, so like it or not we are going to dig our oar in, and if you got a problem with that then you shouldnt have got involed in the first place. I wouldnt carry on pissing more people off if i was you, because if you account does get unblocked then you will have a problem or two. Sorry but i lost it a bit with you, after seeing this thread.

Please read the whole thing, as this is just going on and on for no good reason. He claims not to have logged in Dan_crossy's account. And he says being an intermediary for goods from a hacked/illegally accessed account is not bad, because it doesn't specifically say it in the game rules.

believe what you want but dan is back wednesday and then you are all going to be shocked when he tells you that all i done is pass the goods jo sent me from dans account to the beer_is_good acount (jo's current boyfriends account) which is not mentioned in the rules. sorry but you are the ones making this drag on believing all posts at first sight and not taking into account my story.

If I may, you might want to listen to his advice. SGW players generally don't like people getting away with stuff like you admit to have done, even if it's not written in the rules.

kk fair enough people might not like that kk but i should not be banned. May i also add i don't think i should really be massed etheir. This was a personal matter but generaloneill made it gamewide when he shouldn't so i don't know if you want to get involved then on you go but dan does not want me massed as we are very good friends and we are still friends as it was basicly all jo's fault (yes i know i got involved) but dan dosn't care and the fact that half the stuff on my account was sent to me from him when i started playing and he has payed for my full SS features so do you really think massing me is going to get you on the good side of dan i don't think so. You would really if you look at what he has done for my account be massing his account.

That may be so, but I still think you shouldn't have done what you did... but then, your fate is not something for me to decide (that's adminMark's job) or fret on (I leave that to the more trigger-happy people), as long as you were not involved in anything bannable. Speaking of which, if this Dan fellow gave his pass to his wife/ex-wife/whatever, he should be treated as a rule-breaker - just my 2 cents.

oh come on i can bet any money atleast 50% of true sgw players have shared details. Yes i know i should not have got involved but i did thats my fault and i regret not talking to dan first to see if what jo had told me was true. I don't care now my freindship with dan is the same. I hate jo very much. I will be helping dan with his uu return and things will hopefully go back to normal thats if people would just let this be and let me and dan get on with things.

I for one have never given anyone any of the passwords only I am supposed to know, be it SGW, another game or whatever. And even if 50% of the players did it, it wouldn't make it right - or legal, if we are to refer to the rules you so accurately quoted.
