Bank Size question

Im sorry if this has been answered before, I used the search and looked a few pages in but didn't find it.

When I trade for Market Supporter Status and get 10% increase to my bank size, does it matter how large it is already? It says that the bank increases/decreases with you income, but that's not what I mean.

Eg,

Lets say I have 10bil bank size with 1mil miners. Will my bank size be the same if I use Market Supporter now and increase to 2mil miners or would I be better off increasing the miners first and then using the Market Supporter.

If I haven't explained what I mean enough ill try harder next time.

the MSS bonus gives 10% bonus to your bank depending on your income...

eg, if you had 1mill miners it would giv 10% to that... increase to 2mill miners it would give 10% of 2mill miners... but deacrease to 500k and it will drop to 10% of 500k...

Same thing as I did, basically
With the small note that it doesn't give a bonus depending on income, but bank size - CO income and planet income bonus don't count, unless I'm mistaken.

The % from MSS bonus? No, why should you? You don't lose your SS either
As a matter of fact, you receive an extra 10%, like you would if you bought SS.

There is one other thing about the bank that I cant work out, under the deposit button there is this text.

"(5% of deposit taken as a transaction cost)"

But I never seem to lose 5% of the deposit, is this limited to non-SS people or is it the remnants of something that was changed?

you are either a goauld or ascended. for all other races: they pay those 5%
