Thats the most selfish thing I ever heard. planets are useless when people earn 3 or 4mil more a day then you! And no, its not possible to increase planets a day by 3 or 4mil because they also got higher incomes then u thanks to production.

Oh and btw I dont get anywhere near 400bil/turn. Would I if my idea went into play? nowhere near

i think the APP bonus should be based to the relative power of the last ascension vs the time frame , meaning if i ascended last time 2 years ago
with 5k UP , thats worth at minimum what a nowadays ascension with 100k UP is.
As this is now , the fact i ascended with 5k UP and lvl 23 covert 2 years ago(which counts as a 100k UP and lvl 29 covert now) , means i get a very small bonus , while players who ascended a month ago get 50 times more.

1month ago - 5% more
2month ago - 12% more
3month ago - 21% more
4month ago - 33% more
5month ago - 48% more = 1.5x
6month ago - 65% more
7month ago - 84% more
8month ago - 105% more - 2x
9month ago - 128% more
10month ago - 153% more
11month ago - 180% more
12month ago - 209% more - 3x

18month ago - 425% more - 5x
---
24month ago - 713% more - 8x

So ascending 8months ago would give you roughly 2times more, 12months ago would give you roughly 3times your APP up to the limit of 5mil APP, 18months would give you 5x teh APP and 2years ago would give you 8x the APP. If they did crap ascensions that long ago, they still aint guna get a lot for it. This is mainly intended for those guys who did try big ascensions in the past but didnt get all the APP from it. It also kinda accounts for actual playing of the game by offputting the variables on it a slight bit.

See what you think admin, math can be easily chanegd though.

With my idea of an exponential increase in the APP an account which last ascended 24 months ago would get a multiplier of 11.56 (1+2.4)*(1+2.4) to their last ascension so an ascension of 100k would be worth 1.15 Million.
If it is thought that this is too low then 39.04 times (1+2.4)*(1+2.4)*(1+2.4)would give 3.9 Million.

Would that be a more acceptable solution. At the end of the day it would still take years for me at a rate close to 2 million planets to get anywhere near the top ranks.

People who got low APP fit in 2 categories, those who ascended long ago, and those that are either small/cba. The latter jsut got a huge boost, the former are just as screwed as before. Its actually been done the exact opposite of the way that has been put forward to find general approval in this very thread..

there probably really wasnt another way around this. besides, if its true that only people who got a small amount of APP from last ascension, got this bonus then they are likely to be unable to use it to catch up to the big guys anyway due to either 1) having a totally crap account to begin with or 2)not playing the server at all.

ok pheonix, i read that but perhaps it was unfeasable for admin to actually code it or to use a formula as to when people actually last ascended etc

I also agree with mato that giving free APP isnt the best solution
