My thoughts...

Tok'ra has been a pain, yes, though he has had his positive effects on the community.

Banning someone and eliminating their account for being an annoyance is asinine. I would liken this to taking the life of a representative from an opposing diplomatic party in an effort to silence him/her.

You may think you have silenced Tok'ra, when you may have indeed made him a martyr. His thoughts and beliefs will, instead of being silenced, be brought up by others, and there is not you can do to stop this.

I find that you; Forum, Jason, whatever you are or wish to be called; are much like a vast majority of this game. Someone annoys someone ingame, they risk massings and other forms of repeated harassment. Much as someone posting opinions on this forum that differ from popular thought is apparently warrant for a ban.

This situation reminds me of events that happened in a movie, and a fairly recent one at that. On that note, I shall part.

AncientAnubis yeah I agree with ya but he has no patience.. Much like me, however I have a girlfriend who distracts me.. She is away at the moment. Hence all my free time currently (all ends the day after tomorrow) ...

Everyone else.. Better suck up to the mod team if you want your voice to be heard. Right now I think every single mod on this forum is completely 100% biased with the exception of Jenny and maybe one or two others.

I really and I mean this REALLY hope that you never have a difference of opinion with a mod, say if they farms you and you complain, they ban you, do they need to explain themselves?? No..

And it's funny how Tok'ra's main reason he was banned and was surgacially removed becuase he was proving the mod team wrong time and time again. Yeah he was permabanned but when you start banning people for stupid reasons.. yeah..

He should have been suspended.. That's it. If he apologised to everyone he pissed off or made a wrong doing to then yeah he should be allowed back. Then have limited features on his return, which is 100% possible in PHPBB 3.0.. But shur that wont happen the mods are too lazy and too biased to do that. But everything is and was biased towards him. So nothing I or anyone else can say will change that!!

On a final note, we had a points/card system in school. (Prinicpal was a real big football fan) 3 points in a week and you where on a booking/yellow card, get a point while on your yellow get a second yellow (which was orange) and get a point on that card and get a red card. Get a point on the red card and suspension for a week. And it wasn't the cool suspension which was like a 4 day holiday it was sit in the middle of the assembly hall by yourself for the whole day doing nothing. How degrading was that?

The reason I'm mentioning this is beacuase I saw guys on these cards get points for the following reasons.

1. Being 1 second late for class. Like I mean literally 1 second
2. For not having your school tie right up against your chin.
3. Wearing a jacket over your uniform when it was freezing cold. And everyone else was allowed to wear one.
4. Not having your shoelaces tied.
5. Farting in class.
6. Not knowing a translation in German or Irish. And they where real ******* of teachers in my school cos they would ask the guys on cards everything.
7. Wearing jewellary of any kind.
8. Not knowing how to do math.

Most of these guys where sound guys. They did nothing.. Some of them where a little dense/slow and physically could not understand what was going on in class. Yet cos they where on cards they got punished anyway.

I said to a teacher one day in front of the whole class after he gave 4 points to my brother who did NOTHING except sit there looking into his book just cos he didn't like him, that he was a total ****** and a sorry son of a *****. I told him that if I was on a card and he did that to me I wouldn't hesitate launching a chair at him! He said it may be a free country but it's not a free school. IN here I am the boss and if you don't like it you or your brother do not have to come to school.

Then I walked out of the class and had the principal come after me in the next class saying I was totally out of order. I protested naturally and explained that if I was in the same room with that Teacher again I would hit him. End of story. The teacher in question got let go at the end of the year.

My brother still got suspended cos the principal was an ass too who sided with the teacher at the time!

And for the record I never got one single point in school!!

EDIT: Whoops forgot to put in my point haha, anyway yeah the mods here gave Tok'ra the Red Card point for anything wrong he did when others have done the exact same thing countless times! That is what pisses me off most about this whole thing!

To'kra's constand BS posts and others like him who do nothing but whine here are 1 of the major factors for me staying off these boards.

I was online when Tok'ra ogt banned. Both of us were actually, and Forum was only admin online at the time.

And yeah I agree with Smooshable, most of you are from places that will defend your right to say whatever the *modded* you like and get away with it but when someone disagrees with what your saying you say oh hang on you can't say that anymore...

I went onto a forum yesterday and I posted something about a tv show that disagreed with the general consensus, and even tho I was right (provided proof and all) I had 3 people threathen to kill me, 2 people say I'm a complete retard for thinking like that again I was right, I reported it to a moderator about the death threats no response 14 hours later, then to an admin got a response within 5 minutes and they said that they can't control people on the forums. If you ban 1 they all go mental on you cos they are all psychos.

So yeah, it could be a lot worse!!! You could have every single person acting like Tok'ra

If this was your radio station, Im sure you would have the same opinion. Think at it like that. Keep putting tok'ra on the air and see how long you would be still working there . Im sure not very long.
