We can all plainly see the value of AT's going up in the ingame market. problem being it may be soon (if it is not already) impossible to dump all of one's AT into the market at a go.
example: I let my AT count hit the 'soft cap' of 4000. if the price of AT declines to 200 for 4.5 billion (for easy math, plus it is close to what it is now) then, with the multiple dropdown topped at 5 multiples (times three MT's), I will only be able to sell 3 of the 4 thousand AT.
It may not seem like a big deal, but for those of us budgeting a huge amount of spending in advance it would mean a lot if we could get an increase in number of multiples. Perhaps a 10 could be added to the multiple drop-down list, or the drop-down could be replaced entirely with a 2-3 digit text box (don't now who would be doing 3-digit-multiple trading myself, but it couldn't hurt) so exact calculations could be made and implemented much more easily.
Also - I DO realize market spending is supposed to be limited, but I don't think Forum saw THIS large a demand for AT coming to drive up their value.

Simple Market Update
political correctness is a doctrine fostered by an illogical liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mass media that holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Re: Simple Market Update
1) he did see this big AT demand, especially longer playing people might remember situations where some traders stocked up hundreds of k's of at's or when the market actually dried out of at's totally
This is also why text boxes will never be implemented, thank god for that.
2) sell your at's on the black market. if you do not have FSS you can get it by ascending or just by getting 1k gr points and exchanging them for FSS, or you can spend 20$ or pay someone ingame resources to buy it for you

Re: Simple Market Update
I do have FSS (double ascended). I prefer not to go outside the game market purely because of paranoia about being scammmed on it. as for Forum's predicting ability, I was only guessing. I have only recently come back to the game. anywho - thanks for the input. wasn't aware the limited multiple thing was also part of Forum's market-control stuff.

Re: Simple Market Update
scamming isnt that common on ingame for ingame trades...
also, the rates on the black market are much better than the ingame market...
the rate on the ingame market gives you 20 000 000 000 for 1k turns, and the black market gives you 42-44 billion for 1k turns... so even if 1/2 of the goods were scammed away (which is very unlikely to happen), you'd still get profit...
as long the person giving the naq makes the broker, then it is 100% safe, as then it goes in bank... even if your bank isnt large enough... (the amount above size still leaks out though, slowly...)

and if you're still unsure about the trader, check his feedback thread or the list of scammers
