how long is the counter been there? i have 0 for some reason despite only ever changing once, and wanted to change my name from my FPS name to my SGW Main name (Rich™)

how do we get more cos theres no market like on main

good question... I dont think there has ever been a way of getting more name changes for ascension... I may be wrong...

perhaps a suggestion could be made to sacrifice 1 main MT to get an ascended Name Change or when it gives a name change for 3 main MT you are given one on ascension if you are ascended?

i aint paying 66bil to change my name on ascended, when i only changed it once soon after i ascended ot Prior but good point about a suggestion

you can change your realm as many times as you like... so thats a temporary solution

or just do like I do and have your main & ascended ID in your sig... (my names are the same anyway )

How about a combination of Life Force, Planets, DMU and turns? Combined with a name change limit per week, or something to prevent people constantly changing their names. That way it wouldn't need to be linked to main.

perhaps but in giving it a cost of LF,Planets,DMU it can be very difficult for smaller people to afford... perhaps turns...

Considering that turns can be sold for DMU now, and it isn't too hard to get a high Life Force and Charisma level, I dont think it would be too hard. However, just turns would work as well

yes but turns are something everyone generates at a fairly even amount (or the same if the rank/turn modifier has been removed)

all you need to do is send the game admins an email asking for a name change on ascended, thats what i done & they granted me 1 name change

yes but to cut down on the game admins having to deal with that an in game implementation would take a some time straight away but will save time in the long run...

That is probably the best way, you gain a Name Change when you ascend.
Gives people another reason to ascend =)

it seems to me that you are grented a name change every time you descend someone, with a maximum of 1
