Command Star Question

Hello all,
Can anyone tell me how the command star damage is worked out? I have a decent ranked star and yet it still seems to destory the same number of shields and weapons as an attack 1/10th the power. any help would be great.

That might of happened because of the rank modifiers, before you attack someone next to where you put in the "15" turns or whatever, the percentage to the right hand side tells you the maximum damage you will do from your total power to them, for them it is reversed, so instead of say "60%" they will do "140%" of there total damage back to you if that made any sense

I see, all the times i am the defender, i don't attack people, not worth the money, my strike is a lot less than my def.

So even though my CS attack power would have stopped them because they have a lower overall rank they are sucessful when they attack? That doesn't seem right too me.

Your CS only provides power to your defense if it is significantly larger than the attackers CS, and even then it can only add up to your normal defense score. On top of that your overall rank doesn't make any difference to the rank modifiers, it's the STAT ranks that matter. So someone with just strike could easily get a large rank modifier bonus even if they were higher ranked than you overall.

Defending goes like this:

Attackers CS attacks, yours defends, if either CS is big enough to "blow through" then any additional power it has left will add to the attack or defense depending which one was the stronger.
Then attackers strike goes up against your defense, if it's big enough to get through they take the DMU.

Also note that CS power is NOT affected by the rank modifier. Another thing about CS combat is the amount of "bits" you loose off your CS is based on how many you had on it to begin with.

Overall rank is based on growth rate, individual stat ranks are what is used to determine any rank modifier.
