Am I missing out on some ingenious strategy or what's so great about having more than 2k UP?
I logged in a couple of days back (for the first time this wave), did a bit of farming and got myself 2.6k...

Not that I stand a chance having missed out on the first month and a half, but I might have some fun towards the end anyway

More spies is about the only bonus, assuming the mercs stay as they are...if the mercs run out things will change dramatically...

Anyway, Unit Production 3,710 /day (3,710 total) that's mine and I stopped working on it about a week or 10 days ago..

there is another reason i think you gain a g+r bonus for any top ranking spot you hold at the end of the wave including u.p, most miners e.t.c.

Much easier in quantum to get a high up if you start later than if you start from the start. It's so much cheaper to buy UP in bulk.

I don't think it change if you buy them in one big go... it will still cost the same upgrading them...

what he means is the longer you wait the easier it is to get x number of UP upgrades. If you try to space out 100 ups over the course of a week, it'll be harder than just waiting until the end of the week then farming it all in 1 go.

Of course the upside to incremental buying is you get to feel some of the bonus of increased UP early.

When buying multiple UP hits in quantum it only costs you the price of the first one x how ever many you buy.

So if you get 100 million naq and buy 300 up hits in one go from 0 up it will only charge you a small percentage of what it costs to buy 300 up hits one at a time.

that bug should have been fixed last wave, if you are abusing it then you might want to inform Jason asap that it still exists.
