When buying multiple UP hits in quantum it only costs you the price of the first one x how ever many you buy.

So if you get 100 million naq and buy 300 up hits in one go from 0 up it will only charge you a small percentage of what it costs to buy 300 up hits one at a time.

that bug should have been fixed last wave, if you are abusing it then you might want to inform Jason asap that it still exists.

It has existed for at least 4-5 waves actually. I have mentioned it many times and as you can see by posting it here I am not trying to covertly exploit a bug. If it was a bug then it would have been fixed months, even years ago. If it is a bug then I'd be happy for admin to fix it but he hasn't fixed it so I can only assume that it's part of the game.

There is good reason to believe it may not be a bug, as has been pointed out it allows people who start late in the game to catch up quicker.

Nope, was fixed last wave after Dean_S and others MASSIVELY abused it, basically made new accounts and mass-bought UP's straight away of over 20k. Should have been fixed for good, but obviously not as you are still abusing it this wave. I will contact Forum and ask for your UP to be reduced and the bug fixed...again.

I hardly have an impressive up, it's far under the highest, and I never bought more than about 5 clicks worth at a time. If buying UP in multiples of 5 is bug abuse then guilty as charged. But as I said, going on how long this has existed in the game I doubt it's even a bug. Happy to be wrong though.

Lol, how the hell would it be a bug? It is simple economics if you buy in bulk you get more for less. I am not positive it does work myself because I have been short naq a few times when I should have had enough. Seriously if you give a damn about bugs what about the ss bonus meltdown? People who were able to use their bonus last week have a large advantage over the rest of us unless you are one of the unlucky few who had their ppt ended early and lost the naq.

It was fixed last wave as i said after Dean_S and many others ridiculously abused it. Forum must have forgotten about it and used old code for this wave.

And as for why it needs fixing then it's obvious, as Lilith says it's not like that in main and it SHOULDN'T be like it in Q, especially after the mess it made of last wave.

You aren't supposed to get a bonus for buying in bulk, if you were then it wouldn't have been fixed for last wave. Someone could start a new account now, get a donation from a friend and BAM, 10k+ UP straight off. How do you think the people who worked long and hard on their UP and army sizes are going to respond when some new account gets dbl their UP on day 1 just because they abused a bug that was supposed to be fixed last wave?

And as for you talking to forum about it on many occassions Smoosh i highly doubt that, because he would have fixed it for this wave if he had known it wasn't working as it should be.

And before anyone says it's impossible to get that much UP straight off, you need to remember that it costs like 50,000 naq to buy the very 1st UP gain, 1000 gains at that rate is only 50 million naq, very easy to get at this stage of the game. Hell, if i wanted to cheat i could make a new account, call in a few favours and get a 25k UP. Now fair enough we don't have much time left this wave, but 25000 UU a day is 200k UU in 8 days, more than enough to ruin the wave for all the people who have spent all this wave building up legitimately.

Agreed with you, I spent too much time using my ATs and scanning whole 111 pages to accept someone coming, boom using all his/her ATs and getting a better covert level/UP than me in a single farming session, it's unfair!
But well we have something they will not have so easily heh: G&R!

People who do that will suffer with their unit count, but can have massive stats and spy levels. It is a strategy not a bug, there are pros and cons to doing it. Considering you can't generate over 5k turns then that's a flawed arguement...especially if you think about WHY there is a limit of 5k...precisely to stop what you claim above, lol.

I was wondering why because in "old skool SGW" we used to generate until 9999 attack turns, so it wasn't like old skool main, but that's a valid reason to not be so!
Still that 5k turns getting average 8mil naq on each attacks can get you quite far!

However the fact this wave only lasts 2 monthes instead of usual 3 isn't very good in my eyes

5k is a lot of turns if you waited until you had 5k and farmed then waited until you had 5k and farmed you would have way more naq, it is not a flawed argument. The same concept is true with UP if you wait until you have enough naq to buy a lot then wait until you have a lot more naq you will have more up.

5k turns is 250 hours, less than 11 days, flawed argument.
