weapons without soldiers

If you have defense weapons but no defense soldiers (e.g. after ascenion or a new account), do the def weapons get damaged when you're attacked?

yes they do.

If your weapons are damaged and you buy new ones, the new ones come damaged as well, you end up paying slightly more to fix the weapons, cause you have to repair your new ones as well.

Yeah I know that, just wasn't sure what happens if you really have 0 defense soldiers
