Nope, nothing like it, using 5k turns to farm for naq isn't the same at all as abusing a UP buying bug to get it cheaper. I was at nearly 5k turns myself for a long time simply because i was lazy and the farming sucked, but the difference is i didn't abuse a bug to get my AT's, lol. Now if i got to 5k turns and found a sneaky way to keep earning them then that WOULD be similar, as i would be CHEATING and abusing a bug for personal gain.

Meh, I guess admin will have to decide I am more bothered about the SS bonus thing last week because that involved a lot of naq and it has never been fixed. I farmed 700 mil yesterday with 500 turns starting from a zero attack, so I beg to differ farming rocks lol.

I'm going to personally check this UP bug. If it exists, I will be very very very very very very very angry. While I understand smooshable's position, seeing as I was the first one to truly "abuse" it last wave. I too thought it wasn't a bug, it was just a neat little feature that most people didn't know about. But, it turned out that it was a bug and I'm definitely not happy about this coming up again, especially due to the crap it caused the first go-around.

I don't want to be an ass Smooshable, you're a decent guy, but if you've been aware of this bug for a long time now and have said nothing, you deserve to be punished. It was a clear issue last wave. It was clearly fixed. You were around last wave, so you should know better.

Ok, I just checked and I see no evidence of this bug existing. If it exists for anyone else, give some solid proof please. Smooshable, if it really exists for you please let us know because that is a HUGE problem.

It just appears to be cheaper to buy in bulk because the increase is not as apparent.

Agreed with you, I spent too much time using my ATs and scanning whole 111 pages to accept someone coming, boom using all his/her ATs and getting a better covert level/UP than me in a single farming session, it's unfair!
But well we have something they will not have so easily heh: G&R!

You would have had the same advantage if you wouldn't have farmed for the past 11 days (let's say you had 0 AT then).
Now what was your UP/army/spy level 11 days ago? Get my drift?

About the bug, taking a look at this very thread, I doubt someone massively abused it.
Like a few of you said, it's not exactly a huge difference at the UP levels we're at, besides, I doubt there are a lot of people having spare naq to raise their UPs by 100x10 increments or it would arouse suspicion.
So just report it to Forum and chill

I have in the past sent I think at least one email to admin about it with no reply and spoken to quite a few people about it on MSN. I havn't bought UP in quite a few weeks but I am pretty sure I tested it at some point and it was still in place. If you like I'll do another test later today and see if it's changed. But it's not like I ever bought more than about 5 up clicks at a time (I think I bought 10 maybe two-three times). If you like have the admin check on that. I'm sorry but I'd be pretty disapointed if I am punished for buying UP, surely nearly everyone in the game has bought multiple UP this wave.

Yep it's all strategy if you wait a few days in between attack bursts. My up increased faster than alot of people because I waited two days in between attack rushes so the naq amounts were higher on average for my attacks.

And doesn't everybody usually at least save up 1000 turns for the final day? I used to do that a couple years ago. *Curses self for neglecting Q account*.

It is a tad bit harder to get alot of big amounts right now, but that depends on your definition of big. Some people see that as 20 mill (my lower limit atm), some see it as 30 mill, some as 10 mill. To each their own I suppose.

With all due respect folks..no way Smooshable is utilizing a bug to advance his account unfairly. I am not on his alliance nor do I know him that well so I have no reason to take a side here other than just pure logic.....

IF a person were to cheat ...or use a bug to their advantage would they not do so to actually GAIN an advantage ? His UP is good...but from what I have seen at many others have a higher UP .

Also...ask yourselves a question. If he were using a bug for gain would he not use it more benefit than he has achieved to date ? Also...even if he were , any gain would be minimal .

Remember, with no bank he would have to farm and buy 100's of UU increases at a time and leave many millions open...not worth the risk IMO. And please do not suggest he sold weapons to buy multi UU increases....the losses from that WAY offset any savings.

Again , I have no dog in this hunt but I do know enough of Smooshable to say he is an honorable fella and this should stop.
