Planet abandoning time
I thought the abondining time was 12 hours
I just took one of the planets of System Lord of Fortune, just tried to abandon it and it worked

Currently ingame known as BenMS
Goblin: "I like your boots."
Sorcerer: "That's because you don't have any. The emotion is called envy."

Not as far as I know. I am sure, for instance, that you can abandon planets as soon as the MS finds them (after the turn refreshes).
Gone, left, no longer here.
