That's true - there are a lot of scroungers over here on benefits that are cheating the system - and I can't stand 'em! But can you really blame them when they are allowed to get away with it while those who actually do work are hounded by the authorities for every penny?

fair enough it is bad enough that it is allowed to happen,

but from a law point of view - it would be pretty hard to stop and catch these people.

The basis for this system was for the goverment to show they help and trust their citizens, unfortunately there are thoses that do abuse it and they do so knowingly.
So yes you can still blame them.

Though again it brings me back to my point about Bush and Blair.

If you`re reffering to organisations and puppetmasters calling the shots ala freemasons I believe them to be myths...

Fact of the matter is we are all both puppets and the puppet masters. We have been ever since the first monkey men "signed" the very first "contrat social" and formed a "society". We bind ourselves with invisible chains, of our "free will" and we reap pleantifull rewards in exchange. Voluntarily become cogs in the greater machine, it then just depends on how well placed you are inside that machine...
I`d say a mythical organisation on top of it all is about as plausible as any diety... For it performs the same function... the pieces have someone to atribute "sense", control, purpose etc. etc. to... A greater meaning (even if a vial one) when there (possibly) is none...

Why should there be one, when you think about it? Look around, how much it all brings to you, making yourself a "puppet".
Going into a grocery storte for a piece of "riased for slaughter beef, from cow to plate in 6 hours" must be THE materialisation of the most unreachable fantasies of the first two fuzzy creatures that decided to share their berries in the jungles of Africa, instead of biting eachothers throats off for the other ones... Pretty sure they had no "group" dictate that to them... Devine intervention? Colective consciensness? Fluke of the universum to take us up the ladder? Naturall order as in organisms where induvidual cells specialise to form a higher life form forgoing their existance on their own? Take a pick heh...
Tis a trade-off sorts. The only difference of todays world vs. the one a million years ago is that our machine is more complex and where they had monkey tribes anihaliting eachother we allready are one big tribe and we can erradicate ourselves. In the end capitalsim, comunism, socialsim are the same story; just differently tweaked engine and another colored hood. Tis the main thing seperating us from (some) animals... so in all probability after capitalism finally stalls and we potentionally blow ourselves up the story will more or less repeat itself. Hopefully not with roaches as protagonists and to a more "stable" form.
