I am currently waiting for a broker to go through. It has been 12hrs and I think the person i brokered with has gone offline. I can see the reason behind stopping the ability for the person initiating to cancel, but do we really need 48 hours for a trade? I would of thought 24 hours would be ample.
Alternatively, perhaps have short and long term trade options. Short term expires in 60-180mins or something, and long term 24-30hrs.
Just some thoughts

Well I wouldn't agree to having different broker times that is basically like being able to cancel your own except you have to wait an hour. As for having 48 hours not everyone in this game can log in everyday all the time so it needs to stay how it is.

Re: Broker Length
actually this is probably to stop people making a broker to get naq out of their bank for a while whilst they get more, and then go on ppt so when broker canceled they have twice their bank sizes worth of naq

True, but that would leave halve of it out in the open as admin fixed the bug were people declined brokers and there bank spaces were infinate...
You say it like that you have a point. Stop people using brokers as a way of hiding naq/UU....

Re: Broker Length
I can see the need to disable cancelling a deal from whoever initiated it as this can be abused to protect resources.
But i don't see the problem in having short and long term brokers. This solves the problem for those looking for a quick trade, but still leaves the door open for those that might not be able to log on frequently.
