Yet another whiney topic made by Tok´ra... Damn dude remember admin attends these meetings in his free time. He makes them in two times so more people can attend. Imho those who do not attend do not care what's happening with game. I am OK with that, but the problem is when these very same people start to whine.

Then why not make them on the fourm on occasion ? You can hold such chats at certain times as well.

Not everyone uses or even knows HOW to use IRC.

Everyone is able to click link in SGW game which will lead you to IRC, right? Or we have players who can't follow a link to 'Chat'? It's just lazyness to me, nothing else.

IRC 'live' chats are better as it gives people immediate answers from admin. Enough said. Either you want to have say what's happening in game and follow simple link in your game or don't follow the link, but then don't complain when you were not heard. No offence.

I never had problem of such problem. Maybe it's just there are so many queries on admin instead of his intent to ignore people?

Geez, kick all these whinners to butt and give admin a break.

I'd like to copies of the IRC chats posted on these forums. Agapooka did it a few times, and so did someone else, but I don't think it's happened much recently.

I know how to use IRC, but for some reason I can't access it from my laptop. So it'd be useful for me, and I'm sure others, if there was a copy of the discussion elsewhere.

well most these chat happen around the same time when Im working. Do it on a saterday or sunday when other people can attend.

The only problem with Forum using his forum to communicate with the public is that their would be a few people who spam it with meaning less posts and also far to many ideas at once to have any reasonable discussion on them. He would spend hours just going over the post to then respond and have to spend another few hours the next day to do the same.
