okay, fine, not the subject...
Um... that just means that it's far cheaper and more cost efficient to have the firm elsewhere.
In fact, it just means that the workers have the chance to retrain and expand their opportunities again. Furthermore, they now have cheaper goods and services, and the economy is expanding.
Seriously, if there were no unions etc, wages would be flexible, and the economy as a whole would be better...
