I've noticed (on dev.. dunno if it affects regular ascension) that when stats are above 1 quadrillion (1,000,000,000,000,000) that they do not show up properly in covert logs.
Note this is dev so I hope this doesnt count as breaking rules.
Example:
Defensive Potential 613,533,764,125,710
Actual Defense:
6,233,093,213,670,200
...quite a difference.
I fear this same bug is also influencing rank mods some.
Covert logs bug.

Yes the same thing happened to me when I was attacking Jason's account in the regular server.
