i still dont think it would be good for the game, when you first start the game the fastest way to build up is to aid/farm accounts tht have no defence, if every inactive account was turned into an NPC than they would atleast have a bit of a defence, making it so they would have to rely on only their income till they could build a big enough strike to start farming/raiding. and having NPCs would be kinda pointless, the onlything it would do is A. make the game harder for newbies. B. make it so inactive accounts attacked active ones
they wouldnt be good in wars as their would have to be a set surrendering point and such, anyway, this isnt gonna be put into the game, even if its simply because it would be too much work for admin to do, and thats if he thought the idea was good, which i seriosly doubt.
the game is made for humans, the only thing NPCs would do is make it harder to grow

turning all inactives to NPCs isnt the best thing... but turning some, maybe those over say, 5 months inactive, non-vac mode, into NPCs, would be a thing that could work...
that way, raiding wouldnt be impossible, it would only require a little more work, since when raid farms get over "x" old, they'd become active...
also, new raid targets always appear... so no worries, you'd still be able to raid...

It's not like you can't sab the NPC's defense and keep it as a farm. Every time it builds a defense, just knock it down or have someone knock it down for you.
I highly doubt this would ever come into effect. Like I said, I'm just throwing ideas out there. If anything, NPC's would teach n00bs the basics of the game. How to sab, how to attack, how to mass, etc. There's endless possibilities for NPCs...

I didnt mean that ALL should be turned into NPC's I know how important it is for beginers to build up fast and those inactives help a great many ppl. But what bothers me alot is how larger accounts that can easily hit the active players usually dont and still hit the inactives :/

Thats a good idea. There are so many possibilities for NPC's as you've stated. There could be a way to code a lvl difficulty for a group of NPC's as well. A beginner lvl, an advanced lvl and a hard lvl. But I'm also throwing around ideas here =P

how bout throwing in a 100M army NPC with decent stats. (80%trained)
then have an event, like kill the account completely.
have the NPC repair weapons, train UU to def every turn change. (buy weapons if def is 0)
when his def is 0 and he's been AC'd, sabbed to a certain level; stop the event.
reward the attackers with a certain amount of naq depending on the damage dealt to NPC and the attackers army size.
you could also have more events like throwing in a 50M, a 25M, a 10M, a 5M, a 1m, a 500K
wouldn't that be easier to code since it doesnt dish out damage itself, it's just used as a masser learning program.

of course you would only make some of them NPC's and as admin said it would be difficult to code dont make it to complicated
in other words dont make big alliances and organisation that could make a little complicated but the basic stuff officers commanders farming of the active players and massing

there woudl have to be a limmit on growth and all the NPC shount grow at the same rate and they shoudl be different variables as in some be snipers and defenders and income and such the script writing for that many inactives woudl be hard and not to mention what is the length of time a player has to not log on to be an inactive??
