I just did my second ascension, and since my first one was on may or june 2006, I can't really remember what I had on my account after asending.
So I got 80bil, 2200 or so ATs, 450 UP and 80k uu...no traded back at that time!
Weren't we meant to keep ONLY MS & lifers?

I'm not quite sure I understand your question 100%, but when you ascend you get the same bonuses as if you bought SS:

Supporter Bonuses ($20)
Instant 80,000,000,000 Naquadah
Instant 2,100 Attack Turns (Attack turns are converted to Naquadah and Untrained if the recipient is in the Pergatory Realm)
Instant 90,000 Untrained Soliders
Instant 451 to Untrained Military Daily Production
Instant 20% increase (20% of initial capacity) in your offsite storage capacity (the 'bank' -for you, as of last turn, this would be an increase of ***) REMEMBER - the bank size increases/decreases with your income.
10 Days worth of power to your Merlins Planetary Dimensional Shifting Device (MPDSD) that can protect planets from attack.
One additional Race Change 'Count'.
Includes Protected Planets Treaty bonus.

Ability to transfer ingame resources to other players, and use of the full market functions including the trade broker.
