Descension (forceful); general questions

So... a few questions...

1. What happens to you when you descend? Do all your planets die? Do you lose all your levels in everything?

2. How long is one descended for?

3. Is descension anything more than getting forced onto vacation mode?

4. (semi-tangental) What is an ascended life-save, and how do I get one?

(sorry if it's been posted before, but I couldn't find the thread if it has)

1. You simply cannot login/be attacked/gain any resources for two weeks.

2. Two weeks, or fourteen days from the final hit.

3. It totally removes your bonuses in main for two weeks, whilst vacation mode is only halving your bonus.

4. I have no idea, and I do not know how to get one.

Re: Descension (forceful); general questions

Well the ascension update page says:

DESCENSION:
This is now active. To descend someone you must attack their god directly, by yourself, as a god. You must first beat their physical defences (advisable to remove them before trying a personal attack on them!), and only then will you be able to assault them directly.
The concept is that life force is your max attack - which is then multiplied by your attack stats.
Their life force is their max defence - again multiplied by their defence stats.
Damage is done to each god, and this value removed from your life force AND RESERVES if it is greater than you life force. This is true for attacker and defender.
A maximum of 1/3 of their total reserves maximum can be destroyed each hit.
An ascended battle takes 4 realtime hours - so you cannot attack if you or they have/are battling (ie its been less than 4 hours since last battle.)
When reservers + life force is zero - they are descended.
Descended accounts cannot take any action on ascended for 14 days. Then get a 4 day protection to remedy their failures :). (this is the 'release' values. They may change over time, based on your feedback).
While descended, the main account gets no bonuses from the ascended account.

The main page updates say

Ascended Account Effects on Main
*In preparation of changes to the ascended server coming early this week, the following changes will affect the main server:
*If you are on vacation in ascension, you ascended bonuses on main are halved. You still get ALL your bonuses, but at 50% strength.
*If you are descended in ascension, you do not get ANY bonuses in main.
*The above 2 statements only apply if you are playing an ascended race in main. And of course if you have an ascended account :)

So I am guessing that after fourteen days you get your ascended account back, which means your bonuses too.

Awesome, thanks, Finarfin.
So... the last question, life saves... what are they?

A maximum of 1/3 of their total reserves maximum can be destroyed each hit.

Is that still the same or did my personal slave forget to give me the memo for any change in that respect :D?

Sorry, never bothered to try and find out about the life saves ;).

Re: Descension (forceful); general questions

I thought it was half of the reserves... Otherwise it would be impossible to descend someone in 3 hits who started at full health.
This way you need huge flow to not be descended in 3 hits.

Re: Descension (forceful); general questions

You take damage out of your LF first, overflow goes to your reserves.
Cache is spendable life-force that your enemies cannot touch.
