uh that really isnt something that is normally done i dont think but basically you attack their planet then they attack you and take yours?

You sell a planet by letting someone attack and conquer it in exchange for paying you. Check the planet market section on this forum to learn more about details on prices and such
If you want to buy a planet, you must first (obviously) find out what defenses the planet has in order to make sure you (or a helpful friend/ally) can conquer it.
And of course, be careful not to be tricked
