I want to make 2 nominations
The first is a mod (I know you did not want mods but this particular 1 has given so much to the game and the community that he deserves at least a nomination if not a prezzie.

Clearly a great guy with astoundingly good taste

I would have to say that I have known a great many players in my time here, I would have to say that either ETL or RahL have given alot of themselves for the game and helped people alot more than most of the community will ever truly know.
Can't decide between those two, but then again, there is REK who is a life blood player also.

- have known him since about 1-2 months since i started playing, was in the same alliance and was always around for a good chat, and helps me if i needed it.
- he is war crazy
- he is loyal to his friends, well at least i haven't seen anything to say otherwise
- and really, who dosent vote for their friends, or at least someone they like. because 1) if you vote for someone you don't know/like you cant say accurate things about them B) they could turn out to be idiots c) the rules didn't say we had to not be friends with them
