Is the 3 levels of LF related in how much the cache can grow.
Can I just keep adding to the cache upgrade or do I have to add to Flow and Channeling first to make cache grow. i've been adding to cache and it isn't moving much (Now I know it's not very fast to begin with, but the change is VERY minor).
Thanks,
Sitel

Re: LF Question
They all relate in some way.
Energy flow is used when your life force is first growing. Energy channeling is used to fill your reserves and your cache. Maximum Life Force refers to how big your reserves are (They are used to try and protect yourself from de-ascension).

Re: LF Question
true, but If I keep trying to up my cache rate before I upgrade my flow, does it work, or do I have to upgrade all 3 to get them to grow.

Re: LF Question
flow is useless for growing cache, it only regens personal LF if someone is trying to descend you.
Upgrading either max LF or channelling will increase cache rate. Why? Because your cache rate per turn is a % of max LF. If you increase max Life force, the raw number goes up. If you increase channelling the % goes up.
The upgrades don't increase the numbers very much until your levels are high, you get LF much quicker from converting dmu, depending of course on how big you are.

Re: LF Question
That's what I was suspecting, I was trying to jack the cache way up and leave the others low, but it doesn't work like that as I keep putting points into it and it's not increasing, let me increase my max and see if it increases
Thanks again for the help folks.

Re: LF Question
Just an update, I just confirmed, you are correct, I was putting points to get the cache to increase and it wasn't moving, I'm moving my Max LF and it's also increasing the other flows.

Re: LF Question
Increasing Max LF also has the downside of making it easier to descend you
Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. In the name of the gods, Browsers shall be changed to carry the internet out amongst the peoples and we will spread Firefox to all the unbelievers. The power of the firefox will be felt far and wide and the wicked users of IE shall be converted to use the true browser.

Re: LF Question
True, but only if I break that barrier of not being able to recharge the Max in 4HRs, I was over that but having trouble gaining any LF for cache to spend, so now I'm upping the max LF until I hit the 4HR barrier
