Ascended Blessing

I have yet to test (Only reascended this morning) but is the new unique tech an automatic thing? or do I have to utilize it by some command? What does it do exactly?

You gain the ascended blessing on your main account following your second ascension, and it requires naquadah to do so. You must do it manually through your technology page. You are also able to gain an additional level in it after every ascension following your second. You must pay for each level each time you ascend.

Obviously you have to buy it, but it gives a 5% per level chance to double your military power when attacking or being attacked. It's automatically used so all you have to do is buy it and hope the luck is with you when you need it, hehe.

and also its only a 5% chance so if you've researched it then your just been unlucky

obviously the more you ascend the higher the chance you get cause it adds another blessing too your tech tree i cant rember but i think each blessing is another 5% so looking at mine i think i have a 25% chance tis going too be double...

usure if this gets bigger after lg+1 maybe someone whos lg+1+ could shed some light on that..

no, not really, I have been watching the attack logs and suspect it would show there? I bought the tech but have yet to see it in action.

If you're looking through your logs and see your strike/defense much higher than your normal attack (say you have 100b strike and you hit for 200bil) then its courtesy of the blessing.

will it only double the value or will it say anything regarding my ascended being?

it will do both.. it doubles the value in your logs
and if you go to the detailed page it will say something like:
"you call on help from an unknown source" or something like that.. havent seen it in a while. It DEFINITELY says SOMETHING however.. down at the bottom

It does not mention Ascended Blessing in the log however

Because my weapons did double damage (my 1 weapon) my MS did double the damage. There is no mention of AB in the log though.
I thought it used to however.

Huh thats weird.. it used to show something in the logs, I very distinctly remember seeing that.. or maybe im insane.. lol

But at any rate it just doubles your damage anyway.
