1 vs. 1 Tournament to determin the No.1 fighter in SGW

This isn't the first time something like this has been tried, and it didn't work out last time either.

If you want to get a good idea of the best players in SGW, watch the Colosseum and listen to what the opposing enemy has to say about them, or just listen around, or get yourself a powerful account and challenge them yourself.

Many people on that list, infact most, I am on friendly terms with. With the exception of an alliance war most I would rather not fight against them. Many are even within the same alliance. There is little incentive for such players to weaken each other for future possible adversaries outside of your tournament.

and both mass and rebuild exactly the same

how do you win? based off how many attackers u lose? then this becomes random

Wow i am honored for the invite.
But there are some things to consider.

I havent spend more than 5 minutes a day on this game for a year now with the only exceptions of my ascensions.

Even before that i wasnot known for fighting.

But well maybe i can find the time since it could get me interested again.

Two people start with 150b defense, mass eachother, build 50b defense etc for the rest of the week. It will all be a tie...

Besides, a few of the people you invited are in no way fighters, and soully stat builders..

A public pool would work better than a tournament, and even that wouldn't be concrete as it would end up a popularity contest..

I think a better Idea would be for someone to approach jason.

He could create say 10 accounts with varying levels of defence capabilities and let people try to smash them.

the accounts can maybe re-set every 12 hours and the winner is the one who wipes out the def/ms/spies etc in the shortest time.

something like this may just give some of the real big guns a reason to stick around.

IMO, the admin should implement a tournament, with bets so that the participants will also win something out of it and not only loose. There will be only 1vs1 fights with the players subscribed to the tournament.

The winner of the fight will be determined by the military experience gained in the fight proportional with the fighting units, meaning that only the units that you risk in the fight will give you that military experience if you destroy the same ammount from your enemy. So for example, if you have 24 super defenders and you kill 48 from the enemy, your max experience will be given only by those 24 that you risked.

The tournament winner will get a cool game title for a month and 50% of the total bets as a prize from the tournament host: admin (or whatever character from the show you want to be the tournament organizer)

Interesting idea, tho without admin making some ingame update supporting these things... hard to manage and not many people will give it a go. But generally, i like the idea...

Well Omoc, I personally dislike this, and I dislike the way in which you word it. No offense was ment, I think, but to say I refuse the challenge or the dare is a poor way to say it. I am struggling to maintain my account as so many are racing past me, and you act like I would be a coward for not throwing away 15 mill men or so (Thats about what I would lose in a full on complete massing). And at the end of this the winner gets nothing. All thats happened is some of the most powerful accounts in the game have been decimated for no reason.

Now I don't mind the fight, if there is a reason and a goal for the fight. As stated already, most everyone on that list is a close friend or aquantence. Some I do not know but again, why do so much damage to my account with absolutely no gain?

As for a challenge, I don't see one. I see you challenging me to fight someone else. To do this right, open it to all. Set up ranks. Let those who want to do it come to you. Don't call out players like you have.

Again, I don't think you meant any offense, but to be honest, This entire post/idea is offensive in the way you promoted it. JMO

And yeah i think It would work better if admin organised some form of prize for it, entry fee is your losses during the comp obviously the prize would need to more than cover the losses and be enough for people to risk losing thier units and naq for nothing.

But in general its a nice Idea
