Sure, lets give Tok'Ra a 2 week trial whilst we're at it, might aswell since history seems to play no part in the decision making of the admins.

You know, it's funny, when this new team was put forward people complained, you guys said "wait and see", we've waited and what have we seen? Continuation of the Freespirit soap opera, mods fighting in public and now the promotion of someone who lied on the mod application form and previously pretended to be terminally ill to get some attention.

I agree that she needs to be taken off the team, and I told smoosh about it and I think I've brought up the very valid argument that no matter the terms that were agreed on (in this case a 2 week trial), those terms were agreed to based off information that differs from the truth and reality.
For the admins decision making, they made the decision not knowing that elladan = auriel. I can assure you, and claim it factual that smoosh is going to talk to Baz about it.

We both know that we've been given no grounds to stand on that allow us to trust her.



As for FS, he's out. It took a while but he's gone, what more do you want? That he was almost head admin? That was forum's call and we managed to prevent it, we being myself and a few other moderators.

Tok'ra was brought back by Forum himself too, and then outed by Forum. It's not smoosh's call to go over Forum and remove tok'ra, nor will it be to bring him back.


The latest of the drama was all done by Forum himself.
at this point, the discussions are going on behind closed doors as to what to do, sure the answer seems simple, but all points are beind examined.

I'll say that I disapprove of Auriel remaining as a mod though.

One more time, the Administrators did not know that Auriel was Elladan under a different name because she neglected to mention it on her application. Lieing by omission, so please stop saying that the admins are hiring Elladan, they didn't know it was her.

Good I had no reasons to leave until now, I found the flaming somehow funny on these forums but I'm bored with flaming and bashing now. It will NEVER be a good place again make up your mind it's not one or two people that make it that way (tokra left it continued) sooo take this sgw forums WILL NEVER BE AGAIN AS THEY USED TO BE!

I'll just add what I said in the Moderator forum. I do understand some people will be upset by this and that isn't good. I would like to remind everyone that Auriel, like the other two new section mods (Nimras and The Reaperman) are on a two week trial. If they don't perform well, or if there's to many problems they will stand down. The following is what I posted in the mod forums:

To answer some questions:

Did Baz and I know? No we did not.

Should she have told us? Probably, I would have liked to know.

Would it have changed the desision to put her on the team? No.

Auriel is going to get the benefit of a second chance but we're not going to try and hide it from the users. It's up to Auriel though, you can stay on the team if you like, but we're going to have to make it clear in that thread that you are who you are. I'm happy to publicly stand up for you if you like.
