Depends mate - to another ascended race - nothing I don't thinl
to an unascended race - lose your current bonuses and only gain the race one - plus all that stuff about losing weps and the like

If you change from ascended race to ascended raise, nothing happens. If you change from unascended race to unascended race it's equivalent to starting over basically.
