Don't have PPT as an option...

The worst thing about this for me is looking through attack logs and seeing NOTHING but PPT players all over the place..

Removal of PPT would put a requirement on all players to play nearly constantly. Few, including myself, want to be logging into SGW all the time.

Here's a reasonable compromise: Remove PPT but auto-bank naq as long as bank space is available.

i think you should re title this topic (how to kill sgw) as most of the lower sized army players will not want to play if they have no way of being able to bank a safe supply of naq to build there accounts up

How to kill SGW

the question you've gotta ask yourself is can you get more from 2000 attack turns then you can from 4 days of uninterrupted income

What has that got to do with anything??

I've seen my fair share of wars in my time, and in fact I have most likely have fought in far more wars, then anyone in this game.

Yeah i was in this game before PPT was free!! And pretty much every other game I play that is DECENT doesnt have free PPT!!

What about the small players

Fine have it so that players under 20 mil army size can have PPT after that TOUGH LUCK you should be large enough to defend your income...

PPT should be for the WEAK players.. Not for the ones who are too lazy, too cowardly (mass you then go on PPT) or with real lives...

Anyway PPT is too much abused in this game it should be about protecting weak players who can't protect themselves.. Would be interesting if the larger players couldnt ppt... Cough *Legion* cough

ask the admin to take away YOUR ability to take a PPT ...

besides ppts are good to have for wars u can rebuild ur defence again and in speciaal time u need to go working i have no worries besdies not that I care anyway's

JS you are about....OOOOOO....2 years to late for this one. When PPT and $$ first came/were used, a lot of us said it wasnt a good thing. Now look what the 'game' has become.

ppt is abused for one i dont think people should be able to mass someone then jump onto ppt it should be like vacation mode where you have to wait a day

The ones voting Nay are the ones who actually use it 24/7. Only time I use it is mainly for the weekend for wars so I can hang out with friends. Other than that it's a waste.

If it gets into play though the farms are going to be sweet.

I say Yes - take away PPT ability for this time period - but at the same time, reset everyone's AT to 0 (only for this time period - they get them back at the end), remove all AT from the market (and don't put anymore in) and therefore the only AT available is the 3 generated per turn.

Sorry - but although I am not the biggest fan of PPT - it became necessary when unlimited AT became available and the game ceased to become a true turn based game. Therefore, to get rid of one, you must compensate by getting rid of the other.

The ones who are voting no are people in my book who aren't good enough to actually play the game.. One of the reasons I (and many others) left SGW was becuase of the amount of people who would run to PPT especially in wars, or just after massing you..

Fact is that if there was no PPT, the game would be very different.. But for the people who INSIST on keeping PPT for their 50 million army sized accounts or heck even the over 100 million accounts, how is that fair that a 20 mil army guy can't do anything to them becuase all they have to do is PPT and they will have tons of resources to keep going in a war..

Which leads us to what happened to that CoP -v- CIA war, cos half the week one side was on PPT and the other side would be on PPT for the rest of the week.. I like PPT i'm not trying to get rid of it completely, just get rid of it for the larger players..

And anyone who disagrees with that should go back and watch Stargate.. AS the PPT was for planets who couldnt protect themselves..

Jamie, it is precisley because the game has escalated too quickly (because of unlimited AT etc as mentioned in my previous post) that PPT is now an absolute must.

As I said - I'd be happy for PPT to go - but unlimited/market AT must go also to balance it out.

PPT has always been available - but it is only since thoese others were introduced, army growth went super-exponential and people got scared of losing everything that it got massively over-used - in that sense I agree with what you say. Personally - I only use it when I went a few days away - usually when I go home at the weekend to see my family.

Ya know, I like the idea, a month without ppt, Just imagine the wars that would start! And the fact you could actually sit on people for a fair while with no escape!

But i doubt it would happen, I think forum still makes $$$ off ppt, so probally not gunna happen, Great idea though.
