Could we know a VALID reason to do it by any chance?
That would bounce the amount of vacation mode players hehe because not everyone is here to satisfy a few people's wishes

I'm all against people massing then running to PPT-but there are times when some of us need to be able to be away from our accounts for a couple days...
Make PPT unavailable for 24 hours from your last attack (same as vac mode) and make it an option for you not not see PPT'd players when you're looking at the attack pages.

Game is FINE as it is stop with PPT scapegoating we ALL know only thing needing a major working is INGAME market.

I think you should be able to get through ppt's anyway lol. In the SG-1 TV series Anubis dosent take much notice of it and attacks planets under the PPT. I think if you attack someone who has purchased a MARKET ppt then they get double their defense, it cost's you double the at's, but you can attack them if you dare/can afford it.

for me, ppt is just a way of increasing my bank, lol. ive got the defense to protect my income, granted lately i was doing 6 days straight of ppt cause i was saving up and bank was full.

I dont think PPT should be removed completely cos it is the only way I can bank any recourses due to my rl commitments.

What winds me up is when an player/alliance decides to start a war, masses the other side then all jump on PPT.

I agree that if war status is set then PPT should not be valid between players/alliances who are at war

i think you should re title this topic (how to kill sgw) as most of the lower sized army players will not want to play if they have no way of being able to bank a safe supply of naq to build there accounts up

Hmm i say PPT should be like VAC only 24 hours after, I only need ppt for RL issues else no need.

And i like to know i can go on ppt and not fear for my account and still grow while i am at a party or gone for some holidays with no internet access.

But yes a war without PPT would be more fun.

The ones who are voting no are people in my book who aren't good enough to actually play the game.. One of the reasons I (and many others) left SGW was becuase of the amount of people who would run to PPT especially in wars, or just after massing you..

Fact is that if there was no PPT, the game would be very different.. But for the people who INSIST on keeping PPT for their 50 million army sized accounts or heck even the over 100 million accounts, how is that fair that a 20 mil army guy can't do anything to them becuase all they have to do is PPT and they will have tons of resources to keep going in a war..

Which leads us to what happened to that CoP -v- CIA war, cos half the week one side was on PPT and the other side would be on PPT for the rest of the week.. I like PPT i'm not trying to get rid of it completely, just get rid of it for the larger players..

And anyone who disagrees with that should go back and watch Stargate.. AS the PPT was for planets who couldnt protect themselves..

I understand what you are saying,but you are forgetting that beings taht control the accounts are people.....mostly ppl with RL..therefore i voted no and it'll be holiday after all.

PPT is for 4days...so it's not for the whole time.

Critical, and Nox, is why PPT has become redundent..

The people who are not on PPT and not logged in are on Critical and Nox, so the heavy earners are the ones who are "CHEATING" the system.. The whole original point of PPT is to protect those who cant protect themselves...

So how about this for a proposal

Do Wolf 359's Idea of removing the turns from the market.

0-20 Million Army size players can still use PPT as it is at the moment..
20-80 Million army sized players can use PPT but only through $$$ purchases
80-200 Miliion army sized players can NOT use PPT at all

If you have that large an army and you have to use PPT to "protect" your income/account then why do you bother playing?? Your obviously not good enough to play if you have to protect it with a PPT..

People buy resources ALL the time in this game, so the people under 18 can always sell say (example) sell 1000 turns to players who buy an SS, thats what I did to get my SS and when I got it I jumped 2000 ranks in one weekend.. So yeah it wouldn't really effect gameplay that much...

What makes me sick is the amount of people who voted no, I bet you are large enough to "act" all tough but if you didn't have your "precious protection" would you be as loud mouthed??? I think not!!
