[Hysteria]

Recently a player has been a pain in the butt so a group of us decided to attack him.

We phased the player.

His ability to attack wasn't affected, he effectively farmed the living hell out of other players while being untouchable.

This is obviously a bug since if you can't be attacked you shouldn't be allowed to attack.

since none of our group could attack this player after he was unphased it looks like he had someone "assisting" him by keeping his account phased so he could attack at will.

He also can't be attacked by players that are higher ranked than him AFTER he has attacked them, this is totally unfair. The modifer prevents this, as far as I'm concerned if you attack a player the modifer should be negated in some way to allow for retribution (defence)

Obviously if I"m wrong I will appologise.

yes this seems too be a bug exploit as i cant see this being fair play and i hope the admin will fix this and penalise the player asap

No I am not getting people to phase me, you are doing that with your own attacking...

I am also going to point out that there is no way to tell if you are phased or not - No way at all unless you get someone to test... and then that hit might phase you. I'd also like to point out that there is no rule which says in ascended you can't attack while phased... is this a bug - mabye, but do remember we had people Complaining in main when they got phased out and couldn't unphase themselves, this could very well be a protection thing while allowing you to rebuild. I don't know, I just play the game as it is... If admin says this is a bug then I wont use it, looking at the game rules you get this - User Guide Coming (any volunteers?).

But you will have to admit it is grossly unfair that players can't attack back while you have the ability to attack at will.

This situation happened on main some time ago and there was a lot manure over it.

But you will have to admit it is grossly unfair that players can't attack back while you have the ability to attack at will.

This situation happened on main some time ago and there was a lot manure over it.

I'm challenging the fact that this is even a bug Hysteria, in main when phasing was initially brought in once you were phased you couldn't unphase yourself or attack, there were a Lot of complaints saying that you should be able to attack to repair and recover your realm. As you don't have choice with phasing in ascended (theres no nox at all...), this may be more of a feature than a bug. If admin tells me its a bug then I wont hit... although I would Expect to have some sort of alert telling you whether you are phased or not.

Is it unfair? Mabye, mabye not, since your smashing their realm up so much they could get this advantage to rebuild their realm and strike back at you.

and the only protection on ascended i believe is when u have been decended, which prevents u from being attacked/attacking

Its a bug its obviously a bug attacking while phased was a bug in main was sorted out, LZ is now aware its a bug and is still attacking.


Attack me all you want LZ, I sit happily knowing that if it is fixed I will force you to quit.

Admin has been told about this on a few chats. He did not explicitly say it was a bug(atleast when I was around), but he is looking for ways to fix it. I don't think he wants the ascension system to work exactly like the nox phasing one in main though.

Well if thats the case and can be verified by admin then this topic should be locked.

Although this will totally change game play in ascension since I know that players will simply sell their defences and build massive attacks to farm players on ascension.

Obviously this situation is an echo of the fiasco with the attack planets situation (on main) when a player that had 0 attackers was able to mass big defences, It seems all you need is a big UP and no resource planets and you can farm what you need there by making it impossible to be de-ascended (buying life force) and buying a massive UP.

Currently if this was a bug it would mean that you could keep someone phased, and as soon as they did anything they would be cheating... this is what makes me think it isn't. - Not that it doesn't need to be fixed, but its not a bug. When the problem is fixed however there will need to be a little 'unphase me!' button.

Phoenix I find it amusing that you tell me firstly I'm a weed, then you tell me that I have no life while at the same time threatening to sit on my account till I delete.

I spend Far less time on here than other people, sure I may be on for 2 hrs at once occasionally, but given the, oh 500-700t dmu I got and its $ worth I'd count it as worth it.

I think you have proved a point.

My congratulations to you for having a small account and for using the current rules on ascension to build your god powers and fleets.

This is a major flaw in ascension where it is next to impossible to de-ascend or defend against an account that is using your tacticts.

But I'm only slightly off point with that comment, this would seem to be another flaw/bug in the game that is being exploited and not by you alone.
