With all honesty Tetrismonkey, most of us older goa'uld players don't want to invest energy in a game that's no longer as fulfilling as it once was especially in persuit of some fictional game-state that according to everyone like yourself, can only be obtained through a massive culling of the weaker players in-game. But somehow that will transform the inactivity of much of the goa'uld community and completely revitalize the fear, respect and other non-existant self-serving illusions you're chasing as has everyone before you.

The goa'uld will not mobilize under a single banner. An quite frankly, with all due respect, certainly not under your's.

The last time this was very possible was August and September of 2005. Unfortunately I no longer have the sort of account that I used to have, and all the Goa'ulds that are capable now are quite happy where they're at, so what's the use? I used to be one of the biggest Goa'uld names, but what does it matter anymore?

@Semper- Actually Semper im one of those people that stand to do the right thing, I have morals and choose to act on that. If I see someone commiting a wrong doing, then it should be changed. And true its failed time and time again, and yet each time you try its fun, you make new friends ect.

Despite whatever your hang-ups are goodie, I think the veteran status of players is important to keep track of. But old players recognize other old players and other than that it shouldn't matter how long you've been around, except, in the case that Semper was saying, when you feel it is time to state that you know a great deal more than most about WHAT in fact has transpired over the last two years. So no offense 'goodie' but you seem to be the only one rubbing how long you've been around in every one's face. I believe Semper was stating as an old(er) player than Tetrismonkey he is more suited to speak on the ideology of racial pride in this game and the countless times it has fallen on deaf ears, then just some nobody objecting to this policy for the sake of argument...

I simply said, hey, don't i count for anything? because by the looks of it i fall into this 'forever' category.

Also, i don't know whats happened in the last 2 years, the last year? maybe. The first 4-6 months of play? maybe.

The time in between i just hung out in IRC and didn't pay attention to the game... I'm starting to remember why now.

If you see it as futile then you give up. If you want to have some fun then set a goal like this, get a few on board and go massing some Asgard.

Futility, yes. This subject has been discussed far too many times. And far too many times has it been rejected, time and time again.

The concept isn't what is futile so much as the fact that it always implies the outcome which is an oxymoronic one at that. The Goa'uld are feudal in nature, we will never work together. No matter how large or small the call to arms.

If you had been around here goodie and seen this fail so many times, you wouldn't be talking about this in such a lightly manor. He's talking about mobilizing the remnant of the once thriving goa'uld community. As has been said, it is even more blasphemes to speak of these ideas than it was before, hence the frustration you can sense in everyone's response(s) to this topic and the hostility towards it's creator.

As for the 'forever' category. It is a moot point, two years, or in your case one, is hardly forever. But we need not bicker or be selective of one-an other's terminology.

Have fun yes, come here and role play, fine. But do not come here and ask that which will never-ever happen, and even worse, pretend our justifications for disgust of this idea is completely unfounded...
