there is no rule against talking about ascension and anyone can see the ascended forums

Ascension used to be something you had to discover on your own (the path to enlightenment and so on) It is now pretty much accessible to everyone, which we can attribute to the admin's wish that more people play on that server actively.

well i know i can see the forum, but when i ask, people usually respond in the general manner of you'll find out when you ascend.

of course back then all you had to do was ask someone so it was pretty pointless to be so secretive

and people only say that so they dont have to make a proper answer

A lot of times if you ask a questions it only brings up another three questions and is just easier to see things for yourself when you ascend.

Dark Matter Units (short, DMU) - physical currency, the equivalent of Naquadah from Main. It is used to develop your planets, build cosmic exploratory recon fleets, build and repair planetary based space fleets, create black hole strings and energy vortexes (as well as upgrade their respective capacities). Nope - you can just mind your own business and play Main without having to be afraid of being descended, and have others tell you stories about the Ascended server. Then again, you can try it for yourself and see if it's worth it or not
