Can anyone tell me what it means to become someones officer and what it means for others to become your officers. What are the advantages nd disadvantages of each?

If you beome somebodies officer, you get a percentage of their naq per turn, the commander chooses this (between 10 - 30%) and in return they get a bonus to their up (it would be a percentage of yours though you lose none). As up is the most important stat in the game this helps the commander a lot and the officer as well. The benefits of becoming a commander is that you get a higher up but you lose a percentage of your naq each turn, the benefits of becoming an officer is that you gain naq per turn, there are no real drawbacks. However you can make yourself your own commander, and get a 20% bonus to your up or remain unaligned and get a bonus of 10% to both your naq and up

How do I get rid of one of my officers. Im a commander to xouple of friends, but one stoopped playing so Im not comftamble giving him a fair % of my income... So how do I make him my ex officer?

From your command center, left of "% Income to Officers" the word "Officers" is a hyperlink. Click this and it will take you to your Officers page. Here you can check your officers attacks page, intelligence page, give them untrained merc, assign them a rank or dismiss them.

its just a title for officers
doesnt do anything..just makes em look cool
