Good Bye 2007

Well, its the end of the year again so lets all recap what happened. 2007 Saw some of the biggest wars in history of SGW.

Among the CIA/COP which went from March well into May I believe.
Very Nice time it was.


Recap of Major Game Updates (Main only)
February - saw quite a few adjustments all around, but added the Merlin planet for protection and the 3 MT for a planet.
May - we had the pergatory released.
-also saw the first version of the MS not being lost when ascending. 60% stayed. Later on it was adjusted so nothing was loss.
October, early saw the introduction of the Lifer Suicide Attack and late October saw the first Cap adjustment for a long time at least.

Nox seemed to get adjusted a bunch too throughout the year.


Recap of Events

Winter Season
At the beginning of year, the game was dominated by large Super alliances such as COP and EPAC.

Spring Season
CIA/COP war easily dominated the spring season of SGW. March to May. Which supposedly saw an end to all super alliances.

Summer Season
Not a whole lot happened here, a few wars here and there, but overall it was pretty quite as SGW goes. A lot of complaining about Mods reached its peak. Alliances formed new super alliances. Game Suggestions forum was being hit with a new way to make wars winnable every week it seemed. Especially right after the end of the CIA/COP stalemate war. So far nothing has really been done to solve this problem. Tokra was very active in this time with I think some liking, some hating, and most simply not caring.

Fall Season + December.
First it was in this time that the old alliance, Dirty Dozen, disbanded after having being ranked 1 for quite sometime.
Well, it seemed the quite season had come to an end, and the players began to look aggressively at their neighbors. Most of which have now erupted in full blown wars. And with no sign of stopping, and I counted at least 7 different war threads going on, it looks like SGW is ending 2007 with a series of bangs.

I know quite a bit more happened, but I didn't want to look like a know it all so you will have to add stuff if you want it.

Who cares about the past when there is a shiny new year with prospects of many more wars to come?

Though I suppose it would be good to get done with the one I'm in, perhaps less partying and playing some more would help on that?

indeed,at lot has been and is going on....i hope new year will bring more understanding,less insulting,more fun to SGW...and some new good updates that some of us hardly wait...
