I would like to point out that Eros won the poll in the nomination topic by a landslide (I think like 40 to 3 from the nearest competitor or something like that). I also notice that a lot of the people who have been complaining in the many topics that have been opened did not vote in that topic where people were voting for ombudsman. I think the name mojo rising, Auriel, and Ancient Anubis stand out as not having voted. If you didn't vote for anyone in the ombudsman topics, or if you voted for eros, don't complain about the job he did as ombudsman.

Secondly, the insult thing with Spacey about calling Eros a woman was an dumb argument. Eros shouldn't have made a big deal about it. The "choose your words carefully" also was a misunderstanding. What Spacey should have said was "please don't insult people in the mod section" and it would not have seemed like an insult.

Third, obviously the mods shouldn't remove someone that had been in his job for 24 hours. How do you know how good he'll be if he isn't even given a chance to prove himself. It also disturbs me to think that the mods would remove him without even consulting the community. But if this forum is a monarchy, then maybe we should make a new forum where the mods are elected by the community and not chosen by Forum.

Fourth, I don't see why anyone should complain about Eros massing people who unjustly threw him out of his position after 24 hours because they realized that he might be an ombudsman who would make them accountable to the forum. Did anyone notice that during the times when we have a good ombudsman no mods get massed, but as soon as there was a transition where there was no ombudsman a mod got massed. Then when you threw out the ombudsman a whole bunch of mods and replaced him with someone you chose a massing is calling upon all of you.

And I would like to add that I was never one of Eros's friends, I never knew him ingame, and everything i know about him is by reputation only. So nobody accuse me of being biased in his favor. Also, I have not read through the 50+ pages of spam and insults that this has caused so I may be lacking on information in some parts of this post.

Now I don't mind about the whole Woman Issue. He took offense/He didn't take offense, It was PC/It was an underhanded comment. Personal Grudges/reading things that aren't there.

The thing that gets me is that the Administration removes a publically voted Ombudsman WITHOUT any sort of Public consent or approval.

It is a position *For* the public, not a position *for* the mods. The Public chose Eros to represent them so if the public feels that he no longer represents their best interests, then it should be up to them to remove him, not at the whim of offended mods.

As for replacement Ombudsman, do the other places truely represent who the people want? If Eros wasn't a choice, would they still vote for whoever is going to replace him. I'm only saying this part because the poll was so one sided, getting a replacement Ombudsmen that was so far behind is not turely representative of the community as a whole.

If you want a new one, let the people revote.

Ero'Sore is insane. Clinically insane. He has a problem. He is, at best, a schizoid paranoiac. I have no problems with him being removed from his "publically" elected position. Knowing the lengths to which Ero'Sore will go to achieve his goals, he probably created a bunch of Forum multies to vote for himself. In any case, he is mentally unfit to execute the duties which this position requires. What he needs is professional psychological help and I pray that he gets it.....soon. Otherwise we may be seeing him in the news, with a high-powered rifle sitting in a clock tower picking off people at random, screaming "I am not a woman!"

You've got it quite wrong though, I haven't complained one bit about the job he did as ombudsman; honestly, he didn't do anything besides piss and moan over a mistaken "insult" and proceed to make himself look stupid about it when 70% of people who bothered paying attention disagreed with him. No, I began by voicing my opinion on the matter he asked for opinions on, he started getting more irrational, but I remained civil and logical with my arguments until he decided he didn't have a leg to stand on and decided it was better to take his "community" and go ingame to try to pistol-whip the people that didn't see things his way.

I've never been a fanboy of anybody in this game, I'm not about to start now. I don't apologize for a single thing I've said.

Nowhere in any of my posts did I criticize the job that Ero'Sore as Ombudsman (mainly because he didn't hold the position long enough to DO ANYTHING). What I criticized was his over-reaction to an innocent comment that he perceived in his insanity to be an insult. Then he further confirmed his insanity by pursuing the issue through countless threads and hundreds of posts. I will admit that I did agree with the decision to remove him from the position. Did I vote for Ombudsman? No. Did I even know elections were going on? No. Do I really care that we have an Ombudsman position? Not really. I do what I do, the mods do what they do. Occasionally I get a warning for something that I say in the Forums. I sing my mea culpas and life goes on. That's what sane, well-adjusted people do.

Yeah you probably should have. I was probably not in my right mind back then. I had just gone through a lot of stuff and was a bit dodgy, I admit. But I got help and I am better. And I have other evidence which I am bound by a promise to Ero'Sore himself not to share that leads me to believe that he is mentally unstable.

Anyway, I find it hard to believe that that list of people voted for Ero'Sore for Ombudsman. But if they did, well I guess they didn't know then what they know now: that Ero'Sore is completely and totally off his rocker.

And I don't think Ero'Sore is insane because he wants to mass the mods over this "injustice". I KNOW Ero'Sore is insane because, despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary, he still believes that Spacey called him a woman and is pursuing redress for that imagined slight like Captain Ahab pursued Moby **Filtered**. And we all know what happened to Captain Ahab.
