Why can't we have a small 32x32 sizes image as our realm symbol in the attack page

to make the things more interesting....

purchasing or uploading one symbol could cost some 250 glory points

Changing to another symbol can also cost another 250 glory points

In the attack page...it could be something like this

Not all players have broadband internet, some still use dial up and it takes long enough to load without having 30 more images on each page. Other than that I don't mind the idea.

hmmm....In that case, we can make it optional if we want to see others symbols ??
or a seperate button where the symbols can be put

admin wont add images like that... simply because of those with poor connections...

I agree we are pushing to much useless info now, but if added it can be tied to the classic/additional graphics selection.

Like this idea! I've always been against the idea of adding images/animations to represent battles etc, but a little personalisation would be good.

Bandwidth isn't an issue as we can have an on/off option.

I agree that there is an issue regarding the content of such images - so some method of control would have to be administered.

Would it be that difficult to incorporate something like all uploaded images have to be manually approved before they appear?

Yes, someone would have to approve them, but I'm sure we would have no problem finding a team of volunteers - I'd do it!

for example, if someone uploads an image, then the approver gets a message seeking approval, to which they simply click "Yes" or "No."

I like the idea, but only if there would be a way of turning this on or off because I'm on dial up connection and I know it would suck for load times. I don't really think it should be connected to the classic/advanced graphics or whatever because I would want to keep the little buttons for full turn attack and full spy recon, etc. but not see personal images unless I was on high speed connection somewhere.

To make everyone happy simply do same as ad banners on or off thing so low connections speed won't have to deal with them and quick connections speed will be able to appreciate it.
The symbols will be in a database like for forum avatars, stored in server, you can't add your won, for bandwith potential problems.

[Technicality]

To avoid bandwidth problems, just limit the size of the images uploaded and someone regularly check for members who have gone inactive that have images they are using. Delete these old, unused images to free up space for newer ones.

I think it would be good and u could just turn them off on your settings page, like the banners. That'd be a good way to do it.
