a right mess on my hands!

i've just sent a message to forum and thought i would post here as well just in case i dont get a reply from forum.

anyways, heres the message i sent forum, please post only if you have something constructive and helpful to say...



hi forum,
a few months ago i was given a main account ID: 27960 and it took a couple weeks for the guy who gave me the account to give me the login details for the ascended account. i found out a few hours ago that the main and ascended accounts dont match and i've been multying all this time without knowing.
the ascended ID i was given by this guy was 550 (which i have now descended so i cant log back into it even if i wanted to) but the true ID of the ascended account that links to my main account is 584, which as i said, i've only just found out

when i 1st got the account i sent an email explaining i was the new owner and asked if i could be sent the login details for the ascended account, i never got a reply back. when the guy finally gave me the login details for the ascended account i saw little point in following up the email.

is there anything you could do to help as i dont trust i will get a reply if i send another email.

i know its stupid on my part as i didnt check if the accounts matched....what a mess!

catch jason at an admin-player meeting, or ask one of the mods to bring it up at a mod-admin meeting

(kidding) Doesn't sound like you were playing multiple accounts which is the spirit of the rule. I can't see that you have anything to worry about from the game administration.

not multiple same server accounts,just accounts that dont match, IE. the main to the ascension 1, i'm pissed with myself for not having checked it.

anyways, i've found my ascended account, just need to get the login details now

The main question I have though is if the guy who gave you the account gave you log in details for a different ascended account does that not mean he was a multy? sounds like he was running 2 accounts and got the log in details mixed up :S
