As for nukes, if this baby (no. 4) can be developed and field approved, who knows if nuclear weapons will have any effect (considering NORAD's satallites should detect any missle launches). There is the issue of power, and it would be most likely need to be shipborne off the Chinese coast in order to have any strategical effect, but considering the air superiority (possible bases on Taiwan) and I don't believe China's navy is much better, so the blockade could fall into place relatively quickly.

That kind of laser tech your talking about is still quite a way off being effective in much of a sense, mostly due to the fact you cant, as you point out, make something powerful enough and accururate enough, and quick enough...

...Of course id rather such things (call me a radical) wherent able to be made, because of course, nukes are currently a deterent, throw that out the window and will it still be Iran the USA and UK are after...i think now...

That Kinda Laser Technology Isn't That Far Off. Statistically, It Is Estimated That The United States Military's Technonlogical Development Is 50-75 Years ahead of todays equipment. Stuff You're Hearing About now, the miliatry has had for a decade or longer.

5-Star would be for a single branch, such as General of the Army. I'm hoping to control the whole military, thus requiring a whole new ranks
