Question regarding PPT and ascending

I'm having a disagreement with my alliance buddies on whether you still get PPT for ascending if you have already used 2 PPTs for the week.

I have quoted this thread:

but they are saying that 'new updates' mean that you dont get your PPT when you ascend if you have already used two for the week. Is this true?

if someone has ascended after two PPT's in the week and still gets another please post that as well

yup you do theres a way to stay on ppt for 14 consecutive days using the ascension if you want aswell

Yes, you can get the third PPT - I got it this weekend.

Week 1 MTs:
Friday - Sunday: PPT 1
Sunday - Tuesday: PPT 2

Week 2 MTs:
Tuesday - Thursday: PPT 1
Thursday - Saturday: PPT 2
Saturday - Monday: Ascention PPT

Week 3 MTs:
Monday - Wednesday: PPT 1
Wednesday - Friday: PPT 2

Although if you are doing back to back ascentions, just take the Monday - Friday as non-PPT days and start up again on Friday if you want to do back to back to back PPTs. You average 10 days of PPT for every 14 days out.
