i wasn't accusing anyone, i was just reading the name of the ranked 3 player in ascended and noticing it was the same as someone who got BANNED very publically a few days ago. And considering people who got banned in main were not banned in ascended quite recently then it's a perfectly reasonable assumption to come to.
Considering TLE are supposedly all innocent then you are all massively touchy about this subject. if you truly have nothing to hide then shut the hell up and let time prove you all innocent. There is no need for you to post the same b/s excuses over and over again about how you knew nothing, never benefitted etc, etc. if you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear from Admin or any player-based witch-hunts.
People accusing us did not let time prove us guilty for them, but rather chose to brand us all cheats time and time again at a whim without evidence or without taking precendents in other alliances into context. I.E Stars cheated therefore we must all be cheats was not also applied to every other major alliance with found/exposed/admitted cheats
What would our silence have said then? To the closed minded, it would be lose/lose for us. If we said something its a touchy subject and our defencivness must be a sign of guilt, if we didn't, our silence would be taken as a sign that we're guilty. People are showing one side of the coin and therefore we felt obliged to show the other (our side) as its only fair to have both contexts before comming to a logical conclusion.
We believe and know we are innocent, we reported a cheat once we discovered him/her in our ranks and they got banned. The hate-mongers or those with vendettas against TLE will always believe negative things about us regardless if they are true or not as will use every opportunity to act as demogogues and attempt to slur our name.
A general rule of thumb is: You cannot change a person's mind once its set. You can only [in an honest way] deny them the opportunity to vindicate their views.
And so TLE cheat free after a self purge will deny these hatemongers the opportunity to spread their bitterness and jealousy. For these negative views and hatreds in general are the real curse of the game and forums. The ignorant or egotistical rot that plagues the game and whose roots threaten the foundations of the community is the true danger that threatens the exhistence of stargatewars moreso then anything else.
There is the right way of going about things and a civil way of going about things even if you dislike or do not agree with their views. You can still achieve the same goals and report the same things without resorting to hate and attempting to destabilise the community and return it to a state of volitility.
My point is more to do with why you are spamming threads like this with such heated denials. Truth of the matter is people cheat in games like this, fingers get pointed a lot and often at people who are innocent, but it's part of the game to be honest. Hell i got accused of cheating by ETL on numerous occassions when i was at war with Omega in quantum, all you can do is say "Admin check me out, i know i'm clean, i have nothing to hide" and leave it at that.
I understand you want to try and defend your alliance name, but it's like pissing into the wind, you just end up with wet feet that smell bad. People who don't like you will be praying you're all caught and banned, people who like you will be adamant you're all clean, most other players don't care either way. Only thing that matters is whether your account is banned or not and to be honest even that isn't the end of the story as people can and do get unbanned sometimes.
As for the cold hard facts then they speak for themselves, a few guys cheated, they got caught, they HAPPENED to be members of The Legion Empire. As you guys have said other alliances have had cheaters unearthed, it doesn't mean squat, cheaters are probably in a lot of alliances, but 2 members out of the entire TLE is nothing, it's just random bad luck for you guys that a cpl of cheaters happened to have your alliance name when they got caught.
Just chill out, you've just finished a war Vs a lot of other alliances, a pretty dirty and bad tempered war at that, people are going to cuss and whine about you for months to come, you have a lot of bitter enemies, they are going to throw mud at you. Best thing you can do is have a chuckle at their bitterness and let Admin do his job.
Bottom line is some cheaters got banned, key word is cheaters, the alliance they belonged to is not relevant, cheaters got banned, good riddence, for everyone, TLE or not.
