The Universe, all of Spacetime, etc. is all but a neutron in a massive beer being brewed by the God-entity that created all that is. The fact that there is life/existance/etc in our Universe is pretty damn meaningless, as we're all just floating in a really apocalyptically big beer.
We must all live and worship that day, billions of eons in the future, when th beer is brewed and the God-entity drinks of it. Though humanity itself will not live to see that day, and likely neither will our universe, and thus the idea of "a day" will be meaningless; that day will bring about massive destruction of countless Omniverses that make up the All-encompassing Beer Except Everything It Does Not Encompass.
All of existance is thus meaningless, a simple by-product of the All-encompassing Beer, and thus we must live and exist only to worship the Day of End, when the God-entity will drink trillions of Omniverses.
The end.

now THAT is original.
I used to wonder what if we are all just tiny atoms floating around, and we are all part of massive being, but we are far too small and it is far too large to knowledge our existence.
Think about any item. Say, a stone, or even a tree. Think of how many tiny molecules make it up. When you get as far down as atoms, how can we be so sure that we are not as insignificant as a nucleus in an atom?
Imagine, we have been around for billions of years, and thats all we are, when you look at the BIG picture. Part of a massive rock. Sound familiar? It should. We live on a massive rock. One that has a massive rock orbiting it. We are hanging out with all other massive rocks, in a galaxy full of massive rocks, some are hotter than others. Some are cold, some burn like the sun, some are the sun.
Thinking about this too much leads to confusion and sometimes leads to mild insanity.
See, its easier to just pick a religion and say "that will do". Saves having to think about anything.
I like your beer theory, its close enough to mine :p When will we know if we have been sipped though?
