The $20 I paid him for SS in chaos says otherwise...i've also traded to get a friend and myself both $20 SS's in main. So indirectly i've put $40 more in his pocket. So sorry, but I do believe I have a bit of a "claim to his time" as you put it.

If he does not have the time for chaos or quantum then just get rid of them. That or put a disclaimer to players that he does not have the required time to properly run the game and advise players (especialy in the year long wave of chaos) that buying SS could be a waste of thier $$.

firstly - time on A does not equal time on B ... -- ie i spent 1hour on setting up herebegmaes ... in 1 hour i could not even begin to debug chaos...not an equal comparison...

secondly - http://herebegames.com/index.html - same deal. a space holder to something... who knows what, but something... does it take away from my ability to run/improve sgw? no... its just a page...

thirdly - all the above aside... what am i trying to do? give the communithy a community space... yup. who do i love? its not a player account...its not a loud voice in the crowd...its not ....yup its not....
it is the community.. so - this is for them. use it or not - its for them.

The forum/main game community may have always been larger than choas/quantum, but 6-12 months ago those games had hundreds if not maybe even a thousand players, but now because of slacking they are nothing. So yes they always have been smaller parts of the SGW communitry, but they were not tiny until someone(s) stopped giving them the attention they needed.

Sorry if this is not the topic to discuss this in I just figured i'd pop in a topic that you would actualy read instead of the pilling up bug section of chaos. Why are sections even on this forum if players bother to point out bugs to you and you do nothing about them?

Define dead, I am on of the only few people who have played Quantum actively for the last year and a half. When I first started they were about 1,000 active players playing daily, trying for rank 1, and it would take forever for someone who started even 2 weeks late into the wave to even make it to page 5, now there is about 50 ACTIVE players playing daily and it takes maybe a week to get to the FIRST page.

Chaos is even deader with only about 25 players who are competing the rest gave up and quit long ago and have no chance of catching up since 4 months ago and certainly have no chance in the last week of it.

Im not going to get into this arguement but just wanted to point out that they may not be completly dead but they are looking VERY poorly compared to main server right now.

I know admin is probably busy but I do ask that you try and make the next wave of Quantum and Chaos intresting enough for more people to come back to them. It's very boring nowadays...

I gave up Quantum this wave and more likely 2 weeks ago, didnt even participated in my alliance forum as I lost interest in Q...only interesting was farm, build tech, farm build MS, ect...

i love quantum - it will go on, get attention, etc -- but... when a wave starts, if i do well or not - it finishes. only exception is when i 'screw up' ... big.

chaos i have big plans - not sure how it will go,but big....one way or another.

and - (refer to previous post) -- time on A does not mean less time on B...

plus (unwritten) - if i can get enough 'stuff' on the go - it allows me to hire someone to help this is good for all....now i sit between enough/not enough and it makes it more than i can do/less than is reasonable to bring in help....

and before you offer help - i have tried...it failed ... huge.
so i hire local sorry -but i have been shown the light of 'free offers' and i am not willing to roll the dice of getting the 'good one' in the bunch

myGameSpace update...

1) game name / real name now in (not hard)

2) the whole $100 for 'gold' membership... i 100% forgot this was there... it now 'upgrades' everyone to gold on signup... nobody should ever give money to this project --it is 100% here for the sgw players and - like forums - needs nothing from you to participate except to sign up.... (and sorry about that, but i still have not done a single sign-on...) --but --- considering it may host more than one game community - maybe a separate signon is ok...
(and any other game that it may host, will be sgw friendly, i promise )
